This is my cousins daughter and my daughter. I think the family likeness is pretty good still for 2nd cousins hehe

Went into grand central with the three youngest kids and met Aidan in there my eldest. Decided to see santa and have a photo taken for the year to which the other kids just did not want to do how embarrassing they said hehe....... Got in to the shopping centre and ran into some old friends from where we used to live they had a new friend with them we were introduced to her and we were told she was the lady who bought our old house from us last year hehe. It is wonderful to know when you sell a house that they are still as in love with it as the day they bought it she just could not stop talking about it hehe. She asked about the paint and bragged about how wonderful she thought the bathroom was etcc..... It was wonderful to hear actually because when we bought the house we bought it for 57 thousand then renovated it spent 7 to put in a new kitchen bathroom cupboard picture rails and paint it and sold it 3 years later for 152 thousand oh and we polished the floors to all with 6 kids living in it at the same time. Any way back on to the subject. We said good bye to them and merry chrissie etc and were of on our way again. Aidan asked if he could just pop into city beach to get his work hours for next week and asked could he take Nikita for a quick walk. yeah right he was using her as a what he calls a chick magnet the girls love how cute she is apparently so i excused myself to his group of female friends and kept going with our shopping and to see Santa........ We go into the shoe shop cause Corrie and Nikki ar ein need of new shoes and got the best little bargain on their shoes 2 pairs for under 25 dollars woohoo. Went out and off to Myer to visit santa. Nik was soooo excited she could not wait to see him this year and I thought I might actually get a photo of her with him this year. Shy was the first to run up to him she just loves him then corrie said red man wow those colours I was showing him he must be listeneing to hey hehe then Nikki looked and smiled until he looked and smiled back then straight out of santas sight and right behind her daddy shaking with fear hmmmmmmm it was kind of funny really but not really I tried to talk to her no she said still corrie was then a little hesitant as well until santa gave him a lolly pop and shy was over the moon. Santa even tried to give Nikki a llolly pop as well but she said noooooooooooooo. WOW my daughter knocking back sweets man she was scared any way to make a long story short she said she would go into the photo if dad did to so he hid behind her but no real smiles only from Shy who just can not wait for Christmas day HEHE any way the photo is below have a merry Christmas all  mwah from the Cook Clan

Well tonight is Tiana's grade 7 graduation. Going from primary school into high school. She does not seem old enough to do this they grow up oh so quick. It is very very upsetting in a way........You think I would be used to it by now she is only my fourth High schooler hehe......But it just does not seem to go away the feeling of ohhh were have all the years gone..... geez another one in high school..... Oh well I am sure I will cry again It is such a final thing the graduation they do at the school they go to.... It seems like it wasn't that long ago that I was there myself hehe okay I am dillusional it was that long ago. she is soooooo excited I can't belive it why do they want to grow up so quick????? I have a friend who has a daughter 2 years older and I see the way things are going for her and I think ohhh dear look out........ hehe. But I suppose we all have to go through it hey? we all have to watch them grow up and make and learn by their mistakes.....  Hope we have taught them right and hope that they listened.  I have had a year with my daughter who has just finished year 8 of nasty girls boys boys and more boys along with tears tears and more tears. i think Tiana will fit in well at high school but.......I hope she will probably be down the oval playing footy with the boys hehe oh I am rambling today arent I hehe. Better get ready I spose got to con her into wearing the dress uniform yet.....She is going to be so unimpressed when she finds she has to wear the dress hehe.....

Today my sister in law Angie joined up into the minti community. HEHE yes my brother married an Angie it gets confusing at times hehe. So a big welcome and kisses to Angie from me and a big kiss to my gorgeous little niece Chloe. MWAH and give one to my brother if you must lol. I am sitting here right now after coming in from doing the once over of the leaves and any little things in the backyard that could be a fire risk because from my house the normal range we can see is gone it is covered in what looks like Smoke from a bushfire. Kens on the roof cleaning the gutters getting ready to block them up if need be. It is a scarey thought bush fires. It worries me sooooo much. I also had another thing happen today and it was something that made me feel pretty good too. My son Aidan has been more than a handful in the last couple of years and he dropped out of school so I told him he had to get a job to which he did. Well he got paid today and bought christmas presents with it. I was really really shocked  I felt it was such an un selfish act for my normal teenage boy But I am very proud. hey i must have done something right. lol Any way I am goign to go get these kids organised and put anyhting that is not replaceable in the car just in case so take care all catch ya later

I had a bit of a slack attack this morning. I was just lazing around and doing not much at all. I had appointments for Aidan and Tiana this afternoon with the psychologist. I don't know I just seem to mope around when we have to go I don't know why I do it but Ken must understand I do somehow because he actually does alot of stuff for me that day. I went out at 3.00 to go to the apointments and I was still there at 5 walked out just after. Aidan was first so he wanted to go down town while Tiana had her appointment so he walked down there much to his disgust as I said you want to go you have two feet and a heart beat hehe so he did. I went up to the shopping centre to find him when we had finished and he wasn't  where he said he would be so I thought I would drop into the shop to grab a pressie for my brother from the kids. Went in and grabbed him a hip flask one of the things I know he wanted. I then went out to the carpark still no Aidan grrrrrrr I hate it when he does this!!!!! Any way I thought I will drive down to where the teenagers of Toowoomba seem to congregate and see if I can find him there. Sure enough there he was. It was then 6 and I thought oh great savoury mince for tea tonight I didn't think I would be this late. I pulled up out the front and walked in the lounge room sniff sniff something smells absolutely yummy. he had made a lamb roast with carrots potatoes onions pumpkin and brocolli on the side what a darling  I quickly whipped up some home made gravy cause he deosn't know how to make it unless its in a packet hehe. It was lovely and I didnt really have to lift a finger. It is moments like this I think oh how sweet he is haha But I do love him to bits.

Went out this morning and went to the butcher and pickled port was on special so I deciced why not I will give it a burl.... I have not cooked this in years my kids tell me I used to cook it a bit hehe.  I asked the lady at the butchers quietly how to cook it she must have thought I was nuts here I was with kids in toe and a 5 kilo pickeled pork in my hand asking how to cook it..... Well I am sure she did because at the top of her voice she said You don't know how to cook pickled pork?? I am sure I do some where in this head of mine but I was just making sure quietly not so every one would look at me like I was some sort of beginner hehe... I wasnt game to ask her how long to cook it for after that she might yell that out too so everyone could hear it as well.  I will ring deb for that after hehe. So i got back in the car and thought I want to make some white sauce to go with it..... So I ring home to see if we have any cheese in the fridge because you can bet your bottom dollar that the kids will have eaten the last block I bought..... No Michaela said I just had the last on my sandwich whith the bit of bacon I found in the fridge.... great there goes the idea of potato bake to go with it hehe they will just have to have them mashed....... So I get all the kids out again and go into the shop and buy a block of cheese....... I need to get home and starrt cooking this but what happens Tiana sees on of her friends from school and starts chatting away so I tell her I really have to get home darling sorry but they will have to finish the chat on the phone or school.... Get the kids all back in the car again when Tiana says to me Auntie Angie we need some shampoo too I used the last of it last night when you made me wash my hair.... She could have told me that before I drove out the driveway of the shopping centre grrrrr....... yes darling okay was my answer to her but. I couldn't turn around because the street didnt allow it so I thought to myself I will go to crazy clarkes and grab some there for now so down the main street of town we go and I see the taxi rank out the front but no parking...... So I stop in the taxi rank and hand Tiana my wallet can you please go in and grab some darlin I will stay with the other kids....... Out she jumps while I wait in the car with it running. Then what happens a taxi driver walks out of crazies and walks up to my car can't you read he says to me........ This is a taxi rank..... Okay I probably shouldnt have parked there but I jsut wanted to get home as soon as possible...... My reply to him was oh I see yes it is isnt a taxi rank some where for taxis to stop so they can pick up passengers not do thier shopping with a smile on my face of course he looked at me and looked at his maxi taxi huffed and walked away. I called out to him have a nice day and a merry Christmas sir smiling the whole time...... I was not in the mood and there was more room in the rank if a cab came along there was room for at least 2 more and if that happened I would have moved....... Any way out comes Tiana with the shampoo and we get on our way again.... Get home put on the pork and get the veges ready for tonight hopefully all that will go well I will keep you posted hehe Have a good one
