It's been a long time since I remembered about Minti. Lots has been happening in my life and it completely went out of my head to look at this site. I like sites that have real, normal people on them.

I've refloored most rooms in our home and am very happy with the result. It was a lot of hard work, but worth it.

Just got back from a wonderful holiday in Hong Kong last Monday. It was such a stimulating place to go. So much better than the normal routine. Had 12 loads of washing to do upon our return and didn't much enjoy that.

I went into a local shop this morning called Christmas Presence. It's a terrific shop with the most Christmas related items you've ever seen. Truly wondrous. I saw 3 ladies in there I knew. Great minds think alike huh.

I've been doing my new job for 2 weeks. Yesterday I went shopping for carpet and the Manager there offered me a job. I'm off to an interview with him this morning. Very exciting.

I started a new job today, casual part-time, 3 days a week and School hours. They're also flexible with the days I work. How fabulous is that? One of the reasons I haven't had a day job is the inflexibility of employers. An added plus, it's 5 minutes drive from home. Very cool.
