Just thought id do i short blog while Ashton is sleeping.

He has been so good!! I couldnt ask for a mre happy baby. He has his times where he just wants his food and he wants it now but i guess all kids do. His jumped from 50mls to 60mls to 75mls and now im just making up 100mls.

Yesterday the nurse from teh hospital came to check me and bubs. She said bub was fine, he has put on more weight. He was born 2782grms and when we left the hospital he weighed 2840 and yesterday he weighed 2940, so he is doing really well and putting on weight. She said she was really hapy and wont have to come out again and its just me and the maternal health nurse from now on.

Today i had the maternal health nurse come. She didnt want to bother him and weigh him since it was done yesterday anyway. We just went through everything about immunisations and what to expect at appoinments with them She was really nice and there office is only a 2minute walk from my house so it will be easy taking him for his fortnightly checks ect. He does have these  2 veins that come up fromhis nose to his forehead buts he said its just a stalk bite or his head is still swollen from the vaccum, but nothing to worry about.

He has a mongolian blue spot on his bum, its not big at all but its noticeable, it looks like a bruise. She said it very common in european babies and it should fade by the time he is 1. Im not worried about it but i did want to know why it was blue cos i thought birth marks were red lol..

Looks like Ashton will have daddys skin YAY.. I dint want him to have my white skin so he has olive skin YAY!!!!

We are going out on our first outing today lol, im a little nervous but it will be all good. I really need to get out of the hosue and so does Ashton. We are going to Target cos the huge toy sale, i know it will packed and ill probly miss out on what i want but at least im getting out. I also need to get a memory book, i complety forgot to get one when i was pregnant.

Well better go have a shower, Goran wantsto go hahahaha, and it take sme ages to shower now cos of the pain.

Well a few poeple have been wondering how my labour went so i thought i would share. It isnt a pleasent story but ill still share.

I thought with bad pains for almost 6weeks i would have had a smoother labour but it didnt turn out that way.

Ill start from wednesday 16th July 2008. I was having mild contractions roughly 4-5 minutes apart. I had an appointment with the widwife at 2.30pm and were planning a day to be induced. I rang the hospital and told them about the contractions and they told me to hold off at home till my appoinment if i can. I decided to tough it out and wait till 2.30pm. I went in and i was hooked up to monitors and they could clearly see i was having good strong contractions between 2-5minutes. They gave me an internal examination and was only 1cm dialated. They dont admit patients unless your waters break or if your 3cms dialted with regular contractions so i was sent home with panadiene.

That whole night and thursday i was still ahving the contractions and they were staying between 2-5minutes apart and were slowly getting stronger.

On Friday i woke up in bad pain, i had a shower and seen my plug come out. I rang the hospital and was told i could come in or wait it out but they will definetly be seeing me that night. I went to my mums and hung out there till i couldnt handle it anymore. I was badly constipated, i hadnt been to the toilet in 2days :(       We went and got KFC for dinner and we also went and got prune juice to see if that would help me out.

All this time the contarctions were getting stronger anf by 11pm i couldnt take it anymore. I rang the hospital and let them know iw as ocming in and off we went.

When i got there i was put in my room and put on machines, baby was fine, i was fine and contarctions were nice and strong at an even 3minutes apart. I had an enternal and it was so painful, i was 3cms at 12.30am 19th July. I had my iv put in for the penecillan due to having strep b. The 1st drip failed but the 2nd got in thank god.

Time was passing by and i was in loads of pain. At 2am i had a small dose of pethadine, it just made my leg sore and made me tired, it did not dull the pain at all :(    So here i was already in pain with a really sore thigh.

I then got in the shower on the birthing ball but that didnt help either. I went bak in the bed and my drip fell out and blood started squirting everywhere, so i had my 3rd drip put in, in my other hand. I tried the gas, once again it did nothing besides make me feel sick so i through it to the ground!!

Nows the hard part because i dont remember much cos time just flew. I was getting contarctions so cose that iw uld only get 5second breathers in between. I remember crying and asking the midwife if i could please ahve a 10minute break ahahahaha... At this time i had mum rubbing one side of my back and goran the other side, who by the way was shitting his pants!!!!

Then i yelled, "i need to push" the midwife said no i dont think so lets go to the toilet to see if you need to poo. I told her i didnt, it was the baby, but she insisted it wasnt and to go toilet. So there i was on the toilet and i told her i have to push so she said ok push..   I started squeeling!!   I went bak on the bed and she put the monitor bak on mmy bellya dn seen no heart beat for bubs. She put an electrode on hishead and still no heart beat.

All thsi time i was screaming and panicking and she told me to get on my side, next minute 5other doctors came in. An oxygen mask was put on me and my legs up in stirrups. My mum said i was trying to cover myself up but i dont remember. I was told to push, so i tried pushing nad nothing, then all the doctors starting going nuts and i was given an episiotomy so they could get the vaccum in, i dont remmebr it tho thank god. They tried to get him out with the vaccum once but he slipped back so they had to cut me again :(  They got him out the second time and the cord was wrapped around his neck 3times. Ashton was out at 7.35 am 19th July 2008.

It took 1minute to get bubs to breathe, and then i  had a quick hold and he was taken to Special care, and goran went with him and mum stayed with me. Then they got mum to leave so they could stitch me up, it took like 45minutes.

Well ill write about my hospital stay tomorrow, its nealry 12am an dim dead tired lol, my luck ill get to sleep and bubs will wake up hahaha, but thats ok. Im really enjoying being a mum. For a person who loves her sleep, i dont miss it at all. Today i was rubbign my bellya nd realised i feel no more kicking, it upset me so iw ent out to ashton and started crying. I was crying because im so happy he is finally here and he may not be in my belly but i can hold him and watch him and do evrything for him now. Hahahaha, im crying now, im just so happy its all over and i have my baby boy, i love him so much

Ok bed time, hope id idnt sicken anyone with my birth story lol, and to top it off my hospital stay was crap as and my stitches hurt and my boobs are huge and dont stop lekaing, my tops are always saturated :( but good thing is my body is nearly back to normal YAY!!!

Well ill do a bigger blog later on cos i got some things to do around here. Just thought id let everyone know that Ashton and I are home. He is doing really well. His put on alot of weight already. His a good sleeper during the day but not so good at night but we have been getting through it.

ASHTON IN SPECIAL CARE UNIT HAVING HIS FIRAT BOTTLE,I WASNT THERE BUT HE HAD HIS DADDY WITH HIM.

THIS WAS LASTNIGHT GETTING ASHTON STRAPPED IN FOR HIS JOURNEY HOME. 

Well still having contractions and they are getting worse and worse. Ive had them for so long now, and they have been 3mins apart since wednesday.

I was gonna call the hospital but i went in the shower first so i was ready incase i had to come in, when i got out i lost my plug..I was losing little bits over time but this time it came out full. I rang my mum cos goran was at work, then i rang the hospital.

They said they will definetly be seeing me tonight, they said i could go in now but if i want to keep walking around home and then come when i cant handle it anymore. She said i should be dialted more then 1cm now that my plug has fully come away.

So im going to my mums very soon, gonna get on the treadmil lol, im in so much pain but the longer i tough it out here the quicker it will go in the hospital. I havnt been able to go toilet ** lol for 2days, im guessing cos of all the panadiene ive been taking, n i cant sit there n push incase sumfin bad happens.

Anyway, better go, these pains keep getting stronger, hopefully bub will be out by morning.
