Well today we took ashton to the doctors. The doctor was not happy at all. The hospital never gave me a letter to give to the gp so he was angry becasue by law he cant treat what he doesnt know about. He still took a look at bubs and says the rash looks harmless and looks like a viral rash that needs to take its course. When i got back home i rang the hospital and told them my doctor needs all ashtons test results by tomorrow by 3pm. I got a call back from another doctor, She told methat its been 48hrs and if something were to grow in his blood it would have by now. She also said the type of staph which showed in the first culture was a contaminated sort and she thinks it happened because a drip was tried 4 times. Same as ive been told, bring him back if anymore purple rash appears.I told her the purple has faded but the rash is now on his stomach but red and looks like when your cold, she put this down to viral.

So as far as i know he is fine.Hasnt had a temp thorugh all of this, no vomiting,no crying other then the usual sook. When we got back to the doctors tomorrow i want to know that he hasnt got staph 100% or ill be asking for another blood test. I dont like hearing my little man scream or for himt o be in pain but he'd be alot worse if he has this and it isnt treated. Im almost certain he doesnt tho because the staph they found is contimated from his first bloods, a whole new blood test was checked and it was all clear.

This has been a very scary few days for us and im glad everything is looking to be fine. I will let you know he goes tomorrow.
