Aidan wanted to get Danny a pram toy, so ok, sweet thing he is, I let him buy Danny a pram toy even though he was using my money to do it. LOL

Now I want to kill that toy!!!

It's a cute little thing that clips very easily onto the pram's hood and hangs down. It's brightly coloured, soft and safe. When you pull it down it buzzes and vibrates and goes back up again, and it makes cute little bird whistle noises... at random... every few hours... 24 hours a day!!! All last night as I sat here quietly in the dark, roaming around minti as usual, it would go off now and then at random and I'd be pulling my fingernails out of the gyprock on the ceiling.

And it's still doing it. And there is no way of turning it off now that it is on.

AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I should be grateful it's not too loud, it's not a really horrible sound, and is just a random thing that happens every few hours rather than every few minutes. But still, gees! What sadistic mongrel came up with that idea!?

Why do toys all have to make noise these days anyway?! We got my daughter a toy talking macaw for Christmas last year, and I set it out Christmas Eve for her to discover first thing Xmas day. Well, as soon as you turned the lights off it would start saying "Hello!" in a really loud voice. Luckily it had an off switch though.

Will your toy ever run out of batteries?

Umm... only person that ever said anything about me snoring that I'm aware of is Ron, when I was very heavily pregnant and extremely uncomfortable and sleep was a joke most of the time...?

Hmm, who knows? You're right though, mist be some crazy person who invented it. Maybe there's a little camera inside and s/he is watching parents everywhere jump in fright every few hours.

Hee hee hee.. one of my uncles would always give us toys as presents which made some sort of noise. Every birthday or Christmas without fail, something which squeaked, whistled, beeped, cracked or beeped would be given to us! I never did work out what my dad did to annoy my uncle so much... but he certainly got his own back!

Its made by a company called Squeek, we got it at Woolworths in the baby toy section. Thay also make wrist rattles. The rattles are great, so is the pram toy except for its lack of off switch.

With three babies in the house (ok Keiraleah just still qualifies) we are overloaded with toys anyway LOL but we still went and bought more blocks and a magnadoodle for Keiraleah. Sami still has her stuff too. More baby toys are on our to do list as well. Oh well, there's always ebay later on.

P.S You should see how many books. I could start a library

I once had that many kids books I did start a library at the local kindergarten and their playgroup trippled their toy collection. lol I didn't think I'd have anymore kids a few years ago. Oops.

hehe same. this is our second collection of toys, books and assorted stuff after a 10 year gap. Just when I though it would be over, no, I go for another bunch. Thank god i'm to old to have any more!

lol - I must admit that sounds funny! Aaliyah has a toy that when it's on, sings a song when bumped. Now, the place we're renting has floor boards and this thing will go off when I'm walking around the kitchen and it's in the loungeroom! Doesn't quite beat your new toy tho! lol

hey, how annoying lol..maybe you can put a small cut in it and take the noise box out?? but maybe that will ruin the whole vibrating thing?? Hopefully the toy fixes itself up soon.

They should put a label on it saying "Warning: this toy will never turn off and will make noise at random at all hours of the night and day, keep waking you up when you're trying to sleep, and scare the living shit out of you every time it tweets. SUCKER!."

your son was caring to buy a toy for your other son . but i know what you mean with the noise thing my sister brought a thing like that for caitlin when she was a baby and it still goes off 3 yrs later . hope it stops soon for you
