I suspect Aidan likes our neighbours. They day they moved in Aidan went over and met their son and they became fast friends. They go to the same school, in different classes, but hang out at recess, lunch, and walk to and from there together.
He gets home, gets changed, and goes off next door to play. I don't see him again until dinner time... well, until last night anyway. He'd spent the whole day playing next door, the other two boys (next door and across from us) also were there for a lot of the day as well. He came back just before dinner time and asked if it was okay with me if he had dinner there. Yeah, sure. I've got no problem with that. Then he comes back a couple of hours later and asks if he can have a sleepover there. Yeah okay. BTW, they're going to the pool tomorrow, can I go with them? Umm... yeah.
Off he goes and I don't see him until this morning, he came in, got his swimming stuff and went back again...
He came in late this afternoon and dumped off his swimming stuff, had a shower, then went back again...
I didn't see him again, until I went to put Danny to bed. I went in the room and a little voice from the top bunk sleepily says "Hi Mum". After I pried my fingernails out of the ceiling, I asked him when he came home, snuck past me, and went to bed. He said I was in the bathroom at the time and he was tired so just went to bed, he didn't get a lot of sleep last night, his friend and he were up late talking and playing too much and he was up early to get to the pool...
Yep, that sounds about right. I wonder what time he'll be awake and over there tomorrow... LOL
I like my neighbours as well, but I don't know that I'd spend THAT much time with them. LMAO
