As I look down upon your face,all surrounded by little curls,
I wonder what lies ahead in life for my beautiful little girl.
I imagine your first day of school & when you learn to drive a car
& if your off to uni,next door would be too far.
I know you'll make your own decisions without a second thought,
hopefully while remembering all of our loving lessons taught.
I can't imagine sending you out into the world so wide
but I know whatever you choose to do
it will fill us all with pride.
So now I take this moment to look back upon your face
& love & live & laugh with you
there's not a moment left to waste.
