The house that I was renting got sold....Rentals are of short supply in my town since the cyclone last year. It has been an adventure looking for a new place to live....spent 4 months with my eldest daughter, lol poor us!

Have had to move away from all my friends and family because of housing shortage and relocate myself in unknown territory. My youngest decided to stay with her father...that was a shocker I can tell U!

But life has a way of working itself out!

I have a new home, a new start, and my youngest, after 6 months of living with her dad, has come home to me!

Life is on the up and up again, I can breath with ease again! Phew!!!

 Hello my mane is Debbie and i am 44. I have four great kids, Natarsha 25, Shan 21, Phillip 18 and Kaycee 11. My children have and always will be my strengths and savours. As u can see I have had 25 years of parenting experience and I hope that I can help in any way I can to those who need advice. I'm not an expert, and I have most definately made plenty of mistakes along the way.

I live on a property in far north Qld and I have many interests, (too many). I grew up in a large family with 7 children and wow we had a ball. My parents were my role models, especialy my mother, whom was my best and dearest friend. My parents were patient and allowed us to make mistakes without ever judging us. They advised and guided and I have used this myself, I works for me.

I have done councelling courses and at one stage was hoping to open my own practise. I have since realised that as much as I loved the courses, I could never go into councelling in a professional way as I am a feeling person and would be taking on too much at this stage in my life. The last five years have been filled with sadness having lost both my parents and seperating from a 20yr marrage. At the moment I am happy just being me and lending a hand where possible. I'm taking baby steps! One day at a time!
