my washing machine is sooo on the brink its that bad that i have to stick the hose in it to fill it up...

my question is what one do i get ,, the top loader or the frount loaders?

i went to harvey norman they wanted to sell me the frount loader he said it was better than the top one cause it washes better but it did cost more ,,

im looking to get between a 6 kilo one and a 7 kilo one ,, not sure what brand or whats good as i dont really trust the sellers tying to make a buck on commission

presure
i live ontop of a buisness ,, they turned the water off last week for a few hours , when i came home the washing machine was working fine ,, i didnt need a hose to fill it up and when i went to do the second load the machine wouldnt fill again,, it also might be a plumbing problem in this house ,, ill have to give them a call ,, ive got the flu right now so it will have to wait untill i get better and find someone with time and a car to help me seach for a new machine.. they have great deals on frount loaders right now with a cash back water rebate but the only thing is i dont pay for excess water here so thats of no use to me ,, im still thinking of what one ,, it will also come down to how much i have to spend on one,, thankyou for your input on washing machines its very helpful , Debbie xx

How did you go??

Did you get a new machine??

We have had a front loader for about 3 years (I was so dead against them but my inlaws bought it for a wedding present) and it is the best.

My hubbie works with diseal, bubba can't yet find her mouth properly and always has the runs so lots of leaky bums and all my clothes come out perfect. The powder is a little more expensive but you use less so it lasts longer ( if you buy in bulk makes it cheaper again) it uses less water, and is gentler on your clothes. Hubbies t-shirts used to blow out in necks in a matter of months in the top loader but now he hasn't done a neck for years(means heaps more t-shirts in the cupboard for uniform issues) One thing is You have to use fabric softner with towels or they do become a little scratchy after awhile.

Good luck with the Machine and shop around for the best deal.

Thanks for the thats life invite.

Top loader

Front loaders are tops I have had one for five years now and dont think I could even do washing without one again .you dont have to use as much wash powder and if you use fabric softner onley use half as much or water it down . the cloths come out drier so dont take as long to dry

good luck  warmest regarda Ronda

front loaders
front loaders would be the best, as it saves water, and also the clothes dont get tangled up. im hoping to get a front loader soon, as i only have my parents old top loader, and it is bad. it tangles all the clothes, and takes ages to wash. the only thing with the front loader, you have to use cold water only, and only washing liquid/powder that is for the front loader. hope this helps
