My boys have been studing hard for their computer test for their L licence , the last few days its been hard for me to get on and stay on the computer as they both wanted to keep doing the test over and over just to make sure it sticks in their head .and kept bumping me off the computers .

well they went to do their test and the poor bubbas where soo anxious about it ..

with a few cuddles and kisses and sound mummys advice to take the test slow dont rush and just do the best you can ..

they called me up shaking they passed ,,

Im a proud Mummy here

'now if they can just apply this to their school work lol

Re: Proud mummy

Congratulations on the boys getting there L's. Both G & H got there L's but after a few leasons they decided that driving was not for them. At 25 and 22 they still haven't ventured further into the world of driving.!

Sending you rainbows, Hugs and kisses to you all.

Re: Proud mummy
So cool. My son passed his test in March and I have been letting him do a bit of driving. A couple weeks ago on reversing from the driveway he turned the wheel a bit soon and has knocked my bumper so that is hanging off a bit. Oh the fun has begun now. He has started working now so I think the professional lessons are going to be a must too. He is doing well don't get me wrong but my nerves can't take much more so the lessons have become almost non-existant. If you have any tips please let me know! Thanks, Lynette xx

Re: Proud mummy

Awww...so you should be a proud mummy...That's awesome.

Congratulations to them

My girl is currently studying so she too can sit for her "L " 's real soon.

Yes...they grow up so fast.... and they are so independant before we know it.

Now they or you  have to start saving and budgeting for the driving lessons..that's when the fun really begins.

Good Luck with that.

Re: Proud mummy
Here to get your L's you actually have to take lessons... :)
Mind you you don't get L plates or P plates here which I think would be a great Idea, but at least here the kids have driven before they are allowed to be out on the real roads.. :)

Congratulations.. Now tell me do you feel like you are going to be busy.... And how many fights will there be over who will drive... ???? GOod luck

Re: Proud mummy

That was juts the first part of many thing they will have to learn untill they will be able to be out on the road driving,, the computer test just makes sure that they know all the road rules before they have lessons ..

next is the logg book they will have to logg in the times and the amount of driving that they have been doing with a licenced driver , before they go to the next stage that is the p's,, , they are not allowed to learn to drive with a p plater either,, when they have done all of this with their father ,, the next stage also i will book them into an instructor that will also take them out on the road for many hours before they will be able to get their p plates ,,

so i also dont think its that easy for the  next stage and thank god for that also ,,, they will have to be able to know everything before they can go for the actual driving test ,,soon the laws will be that they will have to be on their  L earners  licence for a whole year before they will even be allowed to go to the next stage of their licence ,,

I dont drive myself or have a car so there will be no fights about whos going to drive who lol

their father is a pannel beater merchanic etc,,,

he has already got one of them a car that needs to be worked on and everyweekend they have to go to his place to work on fixing the car ( so thats also a great lesson for them ) they are taking things slow right now only also learning to drive with their father in indrustrial areas away from the very busy roads right now ,,

i used to always joke when they where kids saying they will get their licence and a car  before me ,, but now its not a joke ,,

i had my L licence before but it did expire as i didnt have anyone to take care of bub while i wanted to learn to drive ,, so now im going to have to go back and start all over again ,,

they have been telling me the storys about driving with their father and how much they more need to learn,, they are in no hurry to get to the next stage ( im thankful for that also ) they will have 3 years if they want to to get it right before they are allowed to go for the next stage yippieee and no instructor will let them pass if they dont know what they are doing .....

they are growing up

Hi
With the new laws i face this at the end of the year when Megan turns 16.  She doesn't quite understand why she is not driving our car until she has had a few lessons.
Congrats to the boys

Re: Proud mummy
Free Glitter Graphics to you and the boys i hope that they start to drive you around instead of you driving them around,  now that they have passed and you know that they can study hard you should tell them to do the same with the school study and you could tell them that we all know about how well they can study when they put their minds to it once again congrats to the boys and a congrat to the proud mummy
