Ya know some people have them as pets...guess we have the cute kind here!! LOL!!  Don't worry,they are more scared of you than you are of them.  It's so hard not to draw them as any little itty bit will do as a food source.

I'm not a big fan of them either but I hate killing them. I hate killing any insect or spider. I have a big problem. LOL

I like mice,unless they are trying to eat through the computer cables! lol.  When baiting the traps, use peanut butter.  They can't resist the stuff!

My parents live in the bush and they have this cleared part around the house and at the end of the clearing where the grass and brush starts is what my parents call the "breakfast bar"! Its where there must be mice nests cause my cat strolls over and catches one every time! Ok, that doesnt really read very funny but it did seem it when they told me.
Anyways I hope it gets caught and you dont have to see it, or its droppings, again!

However I would't recommend a cat personally because our cat used to kill them and leave them for me to show how clever she was !!!!!!! I even had huge big rats brought to me !!!!!!

get hubby to get some steel wool as well,and find the holes and fill them in with the steel wool, as they cant chew through it...
