Me and the boys
Big Brother
Little Brother

Well, I'm from New Zealand originally, but my family moved to the UK when i was 8, and I lived there until a few years ago when i moved to florida to marry my wonderful wife Chelle. We'd been dating for a while before that, flying back and forth from Florida to England, and then in October 2003 we got married, and I finally moved over for good :-)

In my former life, living in the UK I was a DJ and Event Manager, co-owning a rave organisation that out on events all over the UK, from raves thru nightclub promo nights, album release parties, house parties, etc. It was a good life, but by the time I left there, I was already reaching burnout point at 22 years old. it was 4-5 years of 7 days a week, 23 hour-a-day partying, commuting, building up contacts, yadda yadda... It was enough.

Now I'm an Audio-Visual Technician for Southern Audio Visual  (www.southernav.com) based out of Miami. I work in the Jacksonville, FL branch, and we're contracted to a major hotel in teh heart of downtown, and we supply all the AV that goes on there in the meeting rooms, from tv's to sound systems, lighting rigs, big screen video and projectors, etc. It's a cool, boys and their toys... funfunfun

Anyways... my family:

A year after getting married, the first of our 2 beautiful sons was born, not planned, but not really a suprise either, if you know what i mean. ;-) I was kinda rooting for a girl, but was still overjoyed when they told us we were gonna have a boy. I still didn't have my visa finalised when Solomon was born, so I couldn't work. Instead, Chelle worked and I was a stay-at-home dad, Mr. Mom, or whatever you want to call it. That was a really special time, and I wouldn't change it if I could, it allowed a real tight bonding time that a lot of dads miss out on. Two years later, we discovered we were again expecting (good thing we didn't mind, or Durex would have had me blowing up their phone.. grr) and joy of joys: another boy! :-) samuel Micah arrived 10th October 2006, weighing in at 9lb 1.5oz (how do women do that with no drugs????)

LIfe hasn't really been as we'd planned it, but it's definitely been good to us.
