Me and My Family

Welcome to my Homepage.....

My name is Julie and i have three boys, i find that rather bizarre and mind blowing!  Just the fact that i have three children, I've never considered myself very maternal and was a late starter to have kids.   Even though it is hard sometimes i can't imagine what it would be like if they weren't in my life.

I have done quite a bit of travelling and up until a couple of years ago i had my own business where i made stained glass, mosaic and jewellery.  That was quite a juggle with one child so i'm glad now i don't have to work and juggle three children.  At the moment i'm loving Pilates, i have done a lot of Yoga but this is the first time i have tried Pilates, it's fantastic.

What i will do in the future i really don't know but for now i'm content to do this stay at home Mum thing and see how we go!

They say it is the most important job we'll ever have.....

Feeling the Urge...

Comment Published at 22:4422:4416 comments16 comments40 Visits40 VisitsReport

to blog but i don't know where to begin, it's been so long!

August we did a quick trip to NZ.  David's Aunt died suddenly so we went over for the funeral and incorporated a little holiday in as well.  The weather was pleasant enough and we got to have one day at Piha Beach (famous for it's black sand).  Not warm enough to swim and we practically had the place to ourselves but the kids enjoyed getting down and dirty in the black sand!

Enjoying a Latte somewhere in Auckland....

It was a rather sedate holiday but nice just to chill and catch up with family.

September Tahnae turned five and is starting Prep next year.  He celebrated with a party at Little Tigers indoor playground.  They all ran around like mad for about three hours, and were totally shattered when we got home!

Plenty of social outing as well, we have done a couple of school Trivia nights for fundraising, we won the last one (although it helped buying the answers, haha, all for a good cause though!!!!).  Actually, we were ahead without any help but then brought the answers in the last round....it was funraising!!  They were a total laugh and we came home with a few vino's to boot!

The Winning table!

A friend had an Arabian Nights party at her house.  She has a great view of the City and we watched River Fire from her balcony.  It was fancy dress and everyone made a spectaluar effort.

The boys are doing well, and we have just finished two weeks school holidays.  Unfortunately Zane was sick over the weekend, but managed his first day back at school today.  He's getting incredibly tall (already up to my chin) and is growing his hair, lol!

Well, my friends.....that is life in a nutshell.  xox
