Nirmal is a municipality in Adilabad district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad is 280 km south of Nirmal. It is renowned for a fort built by the French engineers in the Nizam's service. Nirmal is also famous for wooden toy industry and Nirmal Plates (plates with miniature paintings and floral design).
