What a day!

Here goes my first post!

Have you ever had this kind of day?

This morning we had BLAST, a play group at our church.  We always have fun there, although now it takes Arianna a little while to warm up to it.  She's solidly into separation anxiety.  After BLAST we had lunch with a friend who just had a baby.  She's a good friend, but the whole time, I was watching the clock, not because I wanted to leave, but because Arianna really needed to get home to sleep.  She's just moved from two naps to one and needs her sleep big time.  Well, we got home 45 minutes after her nap was supposed to start.  Then she only slept for a hour and half instead of twice that.  At 5:15 we left to pick up a friend to go bathing suit shopping (Yuck) and out for a quick dinner.  We got back just in time for Arianna's bedtime.  The whole day I felt like I was on a hamster wheel and I only saw my husband for about an hour.  It's now 9:30 and he's still at worship practice.

I feel like crashing on the couch with the TV and my crosstitch, but it's garbage/compost/recycling day tomorrow and I need to get that all ready.  So, I guess I'd better go and do my job.  Maybe then I'll have time to crash.

Wow!  Sounds like you had a busy day!  AND you had time to blog!!  Good for you.  Even if you still have chores to do, don't forget to take some time for you.  If you want to do your crosstich , then by all means do it.  The garbage can wait a few more minutes.

What a day!

My son also has a bit of separation anxiety, but if he is sufficiently distracted, the hubby and I could usually leave him in our church nursery to attend mass in peace. But he does take a while to warm up to thigs though.

Great job on your first blog!
