At 4 and a half months

Wow, I'm having a really hard time getting on Minti.  It makes me sad.  I miss all of you!  Life has just gotten busier and my computer time is cut in half.  There are so many things clambering for my attention and it's just going to get worse when the new baby comes.  I feel bad about missing out on so many things here.  I hope all my dear friends are doing okay.
I'm dealing with a little heat wave here, might even have to turn on the air conditioner today.  The heat really affects me, more than I thought it would.  I'm so big with baby!  I look like I'm 7 months and I'm only 5 and a half.  I'll try to post a photo, if I can find it.  We've had trouble with our computer lately and everything has to be set up again.  At our last appointment we found out that part of one of baby's kidneys is enlarged a bit.  Apparently, not a big deal, but we need to keep an eye on it, so I'll be getting another ultrasound in my 3rd trimester.  The funny thing is, my sister-in-law, who is also expecting, found out the same thing about her baby just a month before we did.  We heard all about it and when our doctor told us about our baby, I was thinking, oh yah, no big deal.  We already know it's nothing to worry about.
Arianna turned two years old yesterday!  She's so adorable, I love her to bits.  I can't believe she's two already.  Wow.  She opened her gifts from Mommy and Daddy yesterday.  We only actually bought her one gift, but the others were free.  I was excited to give her a doll, clothing and a bed that I used to play with.  Almost made me cry.  We're having a party for her on Saturday with just family and yet there'll still be 15 people here.  So I'm busy cleaning up and getting things ready.

I'm sorry I haven't been on Minti much recently.  But everything is great, really.  I've been busy with the school play, and although our performances ended last week, we're wrapping things up with a cast and crew party.  I've been busy making thank you cards and buying little gifts.  I've also been busy with Close To My Heart, my new scrapbooking/stamping business.  Arianna hasn't been letting me stay on the computer for long lately.  And I've been trying to catch up on all the housework that's been sliding around here since getting pregnant and having no energy as well as all the time away for the play.
Baby is doing wonderfully.  We had our ultrasound on Monday and found out we are having a boy!  It'll be another adventure, some new things to learn.  We're busy trying to pick out a name.  He's a very active little guy, sometimes giving me some good kicks.  The technician said he has long legs, so he'll probably be tall like his Daddy.  We're also finally getting a move on decorating Arianna's new room.
So life is moving quickly and I sometimes feel like I hardly have time to think.  I miss all of you, my friends.  Thank you for showing concern about my absence.  You're all wonderful!  I'll try to be a bit more consistent.  Now, lunch time is getting closer and I'd better get it ready and then it'll be nap time.  (Big sign of relief)  I love nap time (for Arianna and for me).
