All this talk of gardening with marglr has made me miss the flowers we did have growing.  They have all died now and we haven't planted anything to replace them.  Just never got around to it.  So I thought I would post a couple of my favourite photos.  Tulips beside the walkway and my favourite flower, daisies.

We had our second ultrasound yesterday, almost made a day out of it.  My hubby works in the hospital across the street from our doctor's office and also where I go for my ultrasounds, so Arianna and I met Daddy for lunch and then we headed across the street.  Thank goodness this one wasn't too long, my back was hurting as soon as I laid down.  Anyway, we had to have this one so we could check on the baby's kidney.  The doctor needs to see if it's still enlarged or not.  Of course, we don't know the results of that until my next appointment.  But it was confirmed that we are definitely having a boy, although the technician said he's not allowed to say "for sure".  But what we saw couldn't be anything else.    We even got some beautiful views of his lovely face.  I was surprised at how much we could see.  I was expecting that same alien-like skull look, but it looked much more "human".  I would have loved a photo of that, but we weren't about to pay $15 for a CD of a bunch of photos, when we only really wanted that one.  Oh well, at least it'll be in my mind's eye forever.
I'd better wrap this up.  I've got to prepare for a Close To My Heart gathering tonight.  I'll post again with the results about the kidney when I get them.

I haven't been on Minti too often for lots of reasons, but the most frustrating is that our computer has been acting up.  We've had to reload everything twice and switch hard drives around once.  Hopefully it's all fixed now.
It's been an eventful time with my pregnancy as well.  Our little boy is such a mover, very active.  Arianna is beginning to take more interest in Mommy's growing belly.  She hugs the baby and loves going to the doctor's office to "listen baby".  She says "Hi baby" while rubbing my belly and just recently started to say good night to the baby.  We've been reading her a couple books about having a baby and what it's like to be a big sister.
I also had to go through two glucose tests.  The first was routine, the second was done because my glucose levels came back high.  I had to sit in a lab for almost 3 hours, drink this very sweet, potent orange pop,  and get blood taken three times after fasting since the night before.  Not fun.  But my doctor's receptionist called back today and told me the results were completely normal, so no gestational diabetes.  Yay!
We've begun painting in Arianna's new room.  We still have quite a bit of work to do yet, but we're enjoying it.
