G'day all
I live in paradise/the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Qld, Australia - been here for about 13 yrs or so.
I live with my 2 even more beautiful critters, Bax (currently 8) and Willow (currently 7).
We're only a 5-minute walk/pushie/scooter ride from their primary school - very handy - a little bit of exercise for me twice per schoolday! Kids are even enjoying using their roller-blades for the trip!
I actively participate in the kids' sports - rugby league (asst coach, first aid officer) in winter and Nippers (water safety) in summer. I'd actually be a lifesaver but can't leave the kids at home alone while I study and do patrols...good enough excuse anyway!
This year (2009) the kids have actually foregone rugby league for karate training. Quite a popular choice with me, given I'm a black belt several times over with over 20 years experience (including 15 years of "practical" ie a bouncer!! in days gone by...).
The kids are the 2 greatest loves of my life - motorcycle riding can only come 3rd...! - tho pre-children it was number 1.
Currently single and prefer it that way - my last 3 partners (including the children's mother) are all a bit psycho so I need to re-evaluate my choices in life, especially with critters to throw into the mix! - of course, what is best for them is what comes first in my life now. |
