Well im about 35 weeks pregnant now, i cant believe how quick it has gone by
So sometime next month baby will be born which is exciting as im so over being pregnant now, especially having trouble sleeping and finding stuff to wear... haha...
I've finally decided on what i will be packing in my maternity bag. Thanks to those people who answered my question a few weeks ago. From all your answers i've come down to what i will take and if i miss anything i will get hubby to get it for me. I didnt realise it was so hard to decide on what to pack... lol... I feel like im going away on a holiday... haha... I wish!!!
Anyway these are the things i have decided for a 3-4 day stay which is normal... I thought i would write it down just in case someone out there is reading and is unsure on what to pack:
For Myself/Toiletries
- 3 pj style pants (black or dark colour as its less noticiable if you leak
)
- 4 t-shirts
- 3 maternity bras
- 3 pairs of socks
- 8 briefs (extra for leakage again)
- slippers
- A set of take home clothes
- toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash and floss (i actually bought a small travel pack from Big W which included all this for under $6)
- 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner
- Body wash
- Hair Mouse and comb
- Moisturiser
- Maternity pads
- Breast pads
- A book and some magazines
- Ipod and some coins for tv or snack machine... lol...
For Baby
Normally i use the hospital clothes they provide as well as nappies but will bring some of my own just in case times have changed...
- 1 pk newborn nappies
- 4 baby suits (2 each of different size, depending on how big baby will be)
- 4 singlets
- mittens
- blanket/wrap
- 2 dummies
Well thats all im taking but as i said if i miss something i will get hubby to bring it over
Anyway, not much else has been happening, just busy getting stuff sorted for the arrival of baby. Was really glad the other week we got paid our Family Tax Benefit Allowance Supplement. Its so good to recieve a letter saying "The Australian Government Owes You $$$$" LOL... Im glad as usual we over estimated our income this financial year again so the money we recieved has helped put us back up to date with bills, as well as paying extra on our debts and we were able to buy the pram we wanted for the baby instead of putting it on layby. The one Sander wanted which he has been longing for the past 7 years... LOL... (he always wanted a 3 wheel buggy) we decided on the Phil & Ted Sports Buggy in Apple green colour with the extra double kit, exactly like this one here. He wanted this type so he can go jogging with the kids in the mornings or afternoons. He took it on a test jog on the weekend with Lealiki and he loved it... LOL... So hopefully this will give him motivation to excercise as im sick of him complaining he needs to lose weight
Anyway better go do something productive... hehe... its my kids free day today
Here are some pics of me belly and my ultrasound at about 20 weeks...
