My nice quiet evening at home for my birthday turned out good, except for the Chinese home delivery which was an hour late! Apparently the lady (chef's wife) did the delivery cause the normal delivery girl was out delivering somewhere else so the chef's wife offered to do it. She seemed to of gotten confused on where to find my street as she didnt realise it curves right around but she only drove half way around the street and i can see the car driving back and forwards but not turning into the street so i called my mum who works at the restaurant to explain to them where i live. They finally came with apologies and even told me that they re cooked my meal again so its hot and fresh and gave me a $12 discount cause it was late... the meal was good and very filling... and my hubby, well he did spoil me with a nice diamond dress ring even though i specified i didnt really want anything... he seems like his old self again, where he'd give me jewellery for a special occasion as a gift

We spent half the weekend at my place and then headed down to my hubby's as he had a few things to do before his trip home to Holland. I helped him out with the housework despite me feeling a bit off with a head cold which i still have but i insisted to carry on as thats what us women are capable of, to carry on and on and on no matter what...

The kids and i drove him to the airport in Port this morning where we sadly said goodbye *sigh* so now, its a long 3 weeks till we see him again. I really hope he will spend that time with his family and friends to help with his depression... But for now while we wait im sure if we keep ourselves busy, it will go by in a flash

YAY... Im a year older, well actual i shouldnt say YAY cause this will be my final year in my 20's LOL.. OMG  i will be the big 30 next year...

Well just having a quiet one this year. At the moment im at my parents using there computer as i dont have one at the moment. I have been using there computer for the last month cause the one i did have (which i was borrowing) had a virus on it which my teeny bot sister and her friends put on when they broke into my house while i was away for a week working things out with my hubby. I couldnt believe they actually broke into my house just to use the computer and they thought i wouldnt get upset if they cleaned the house a bit and fold my dirty laundry... lol... how weird to fold my dirty laundry...  they even left a note saying please dont tell our parents, call us first. Umm... yeah as if, i did call one of the parents and told them i didnt appreciate there daughter breaking in and they couldnt believe she told them i was home and she was going to help clean the house. Funny thing is, that parent had a talk to there daughter and told her another story, saying i was going to press charges with the police LOL... and that girl quickly called my sister sobbing away telling her to tell me not to press charges, it was so funny...  Oh well that will teach them...

Well my hubby will be bringing down our computer when he comes tonight as he wont be using it for the next month. He is off to Holland to see his family and friends next week. Though i am annoyed that the timing is wrong when he booked the flight as he was only thinking of himself and his ex-mistress at the time. He is going to totally miss out on our son's birthday. I really wish reality hitted him much sooner with his depression but whats done is done.

Anyway, i can hear my daughter having fun in the kitchen with my brother. They are apparently making my birthday cake... hehehe...

Hmm... I think i might order in Chinese for dinner tonight... LOL... funny i will be paying for it with the birthday money my parents gave me

I cant believe i will be another year older soon... so so soon *sigh* lol 

Im so busy planning for my son's pirate themed birthday party in less then 2 weeks and its my birthday in less than 2 days, though im more excited with the fun i have planned for my son... hahaha... Just finished drawing and painting the pirate for the 'pin the parrot on the pirate' game we gonna play. And i finally bought the prizes i was gonna use for the game and pass the parcel. Will be wrapping up the 'pass the pacel' game tomorrow, i guess with the help of my son as its another 'teacher's strike' so another day off school for him. He is pretty happy about that.

Well i dont really have anything planned for my birthday but hopefully my hubby will spoil me rotten... LOL...

Well I decided to blog here once again with all my happy thoughts and leave all the venting in my private world. I shouldnt have to hide if i want to blog. Despite the trials and tribulations i've gone through, life is sweet and is improving everyday

My Mother's Day weekend was perfect. Nothing special really, we just did the things we enjoyed, that is spending time as a family. It might sound boring but sitting in front of the tv as a family and playing a playstation game is kinda fun. Its amazing how your son knows more than you when playing the game... lol... and cooking together a new recipe we havent tried was good, first go wasnt too bad, second round there were improvements and it tasted better... if you were wondering what we cooked it was a traditional dutch winter meal "Pea Soup" and surprisingly its the thickest soup i ever eaten and very filling hehe...other than that we did go out and had some fun at the beach. We took our first family photo which we havent done in almost 2 years. It was really nice to have. A new beginning and some new memories to go with it.
