and asked again and again , how im recovering from the ops , so here it is , i never got much rest since friday(op day)so the wound only stopped bleeeding yesterday last night i saw dr monday who prescribed me a differant very good painkiller which i am going through upping the dose until i take 3 in morning 3 at night but they are real good , last night i decided to take off the dressing it has been sore but tonight i have upped my dose to 2 at night today im fat i look 6 months pregnant and the affected area of my stomach is black but it dont hurt much thanks to these tabs but im ok i always am

It all sounds so very very painful. Please try and take it easy as you don't want to overdo things and cause yourself an injury . . . I hope you begin to recover much faster and can get back to doing all things you love to do.

Hi Emz! Wow, swollen and black - must have been painfull. I'm glad it has gone down and changed colour now - just please don't overdo it with the packing! How many days now until you move? How exciting!!

im at dads ive been out all day i jus borrowsd lap top to quickly after my wonderful text but i am about to go get the bus home i will grab the kids dinner and jump online and i will email u later my phone has no credit onnly text so i cabnt text u back get some credit in the morning well i best shut up and get off here and get these kids ready to go home

While you need to rest as much as possible, you also need to get up and move about, but the drs will have told you this already. It helps with circulation and healing. It also helps to drain fluids away.

If you are worried, like the rest of us, go and see your dr. Or go to the hospital where op done. They know better about how things went.

I hope this fixes your problems and that you can go back to a 'normal' (OMG i hate that word) life.

Hummm...hello emmie,me again!!! if your tummy is swelling out today, more than it has,promise you'll trot to the dreaded doctor. No fun to go there and I know you have an appointment for friday but fluid build up is common after abdominal surgery and I'm a worry wart! Really and truely want you to heal well and this could be a problem,you have been up too much doing things right after the surgery. Bruising and some swelling is normal but if your belly is coming way out make sure you take care of yourself!

good morning , swelling has gone down loads and i dont look 6 months pregnant anymore and the black is going like a green so i think that all is recovering appointment friday is interview with the housing manager hehe

I told you this last night...it isn't normal. And the drugs you are taking would be masking any pain. Just make sure you try to take it easy and for gods sake, relax. You need to be ok to look after those girls and the way you are going, you aren't gonna be much use to anyone!

Just make sure you follow up with the doc on Friday if it isn't any better!!!

I'm so sorry I've been self absorbed that I didn't realise your stomach was swollen. Go to the docs Em get it looked at they will know by looking at it if it's serious or not. I know the tabs are working but it's obviously masking the pain so it doesn't seem that bad. I'm really worried Em don't overdo the packing cause your body is still healing get Barry to do it, you need to rest. Take care, please love ya xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hey sweetie ,

i have spoke to the doc he said not to worry for now but if its no better by friday i will be goin back as this is getting stupid now , but it may jus be where they did the adhesion aswell as ive only jus took off the dressing to let the bruising out before i only had lap but all doc keeps saying is wait for my appointment at gastriology as they think im in pain for nothing dont u worry i be fine i always am

Oh,poor emmie. Is the colour from bruising? You need to take the best care of yourself ,for the girls and the move into the new house, and us!!! We would miss our little emmie! Can't have anything happening to you! Hope the bruising goes away and the swelling goes down. Those scopes go through a lot of you and do cause swelling but you should get checked if you swell out more. Thanks for the update Sweety! Always thinking of you!

yes the colour from bruising , i think its cos they did the adhsion aswell which iv never had in the previous laps , i have been packing but nothing heavy just bedding and bits and pieces around the place , omg what will i do i will have to go a couple of days without internet untill i get it connected but if it hasnt improved by friday i will be going back to the doc
