well i have finally managed to get a pic of my ring....from my phone.

The quality of the pic isn't much good so the ring isn't too clear on it.
Its been a month or so since i got engaged and so much has happened since then lol.

We all got very sick with a flu a few weeks ago and poor little ethan on top of his teething got a bad flu and a bad ear infection.

I have discovered why emily sleeps with us sometimes. You see, graeme's mum (my fiance's mum) likes to stay up til really late.... like 1 am. and she refuses to turn the light off (she turns it back on if u turn it off) and then when she finishes watching tv (at say midnight or soon after) she gets pottering around in the kitchen and stuff.

Emily doesn't like a light being on when she is asleep as it disturbs her or she sleeps very lightly. So when the old girl is pottering around making a noise, because the light is on it wakes emily, so as soon as old girl turns off the light and goes to bed, emily runs into our room to sleep with us.

Emily's behaviour is slowly improving (PRAISE THE LORD) as both graeme and i have been punishing her more and more in front of his mum (9 times out of 10 its cos of her that emily is getting into trouble) and the old girl has been picking up on it and not provoking emily into being naughty etc.

Still having a few issues getting her to eat dinner ( more like eat at all) and this is bugging me and graeme both so we are trying to get graeme's mum ( dad too) to stop giving her junk food through the day and we seem not to be having much success with that at the moment so we have told graemes mum that emily is to have no sweets (or savourys) WHATSOEVER until her dinner is eaten, so this includes custards ice creams, biscuits, lollies, chips and all that jazz... mind you i will make an exception for FRESH FRUIT ( not Tinned) as she will get alot of vits and mins from that (tinned stuff is too sweet and chocked full of preservatives).

Went out to dinner and movies last night and it was nice. Cass made me a cocktail and by lord was it strong so i didn't drink it all....3 sips and that was it.... only to be told today that i was suppose to stir it up HAHHAHA i am used to them being mixed in the cocktail shaker ummm der why didnt i think to stir it...stupid me.

Have started on the fat blaster tablets as i havent been getting much exercise lately and i am hoping that they can help me a little cos at 40 bucks they are more costly than my weekly gym membership....

Oh well not much else to say. So here is the pic of my ring:

I AM ENGAGED...... OMG OMG OMG.

Hubby took me to the jewellery shop this afternoon and told me to pick out a ring i liked, so i did and he paid for it and i said to him hey whats this for and he is like its your engagement ring! I was so damn shocked.

No date has been set yet. But all i can say is I'M ENGAGED and I HAVEA BEAUTIFUL RING WOOHOO

The lady who i am proud to call my new and much loved mum.

On friday at 11 am, the family and i rocked up at Mum and Dads house for the first time.
It had been a very long wait for us all.... especially my darling emily....

We were greeted with open arms and lots of smiles and soon sat down and started talking.

Emily was fascinated by all the birds and also by the stairs - such fun for her to slide down the steps on her bum lol we dont have stairs at our house you see so it was all new for her.

Mum n dad were very clucky..... mum more so with ethan and well dad just loved taking emily to show her the pond with the big fish in it and the eels.... emily had him wrapped around her little finger in a matter or a few seconds.

We had a lovely BBQ lunch (and dad i must say you are the BEST steak cooker in the WORLD) and also a fwe glasses of chardonnay.... i think i had one too many as i was soon relaxed to the point that i was nearly sleeping in the chair after lunch hahahahahaha.

I felt like i was at home with my family (yes mum n dad i know i was)..... but i felt as though i had known them for yrs!

I can't wait until our next visit and hopefully it will be a for a much longer time, as a few hrs most certainly wasnt enough! So thankyou both for such a wonderful day.

well it has been almost a month since i have blogged (i know very slack).

Alot has happened in this time. I have moved to my mans house and we are with his parents (well his parents are with us lol). Have had the kids sick etc and been to the doctors about 50 gazillion times lol.

Had ethan go to the paediatrician yesterday to see about all his rash, turns out its a form of excema called saeborhaeic dermatitis or something like that. He cant wear fleecy lined clothes, nor can he be near wool. He must avoid eggs as much as possible (mainly the whites) and have to vacuum with dyson vac everyday and change his cot sheets every second day. he also has to be bathed in special oil or rolled oats in a stocking. his bathwater cant be too hot and he cant have a decent bath time either, as this makes the rash flare right up.

Also, my little man has an innocent heart murmur that needs to be watched very closely, as if it doesnt improve we either have to go to see a childrens heart specialist... and the closest one we have only comes to orange once every 3 months and is very hard to get into or the same bloke in sydney who we can get into pretty much straight away (confused yet?).

I always said my boy would be the child who would spend all my bank balance, and i was right. The GAP (the stuff you cannot claim back off medicare) was ONE HUNDRED BLOODY DOLLARS. I was gobsmacked to say the least lol.

Anyway on a brighter note, both kids are happy n healthy and we are enjoying life.

I am going to be so busy this weekend as i am painting my house and re tiling and linous tiling it to get it ready for a rental valuation so i can get a bit more cash flow,.

Crazy stuff LOL.

Hello my fellow mintiers.

I haven't blogged in quite a while so i thought i should do a new blog.

My ethan (EJ) is now 4.5 months old. He is 6.4 kg and is about 64cm in length.
He had his 4 m.o needles the other day and he screamed. Poor bub. He had a bit of a reaction the next day - nothing too bad just a little bit of runny poo and was a bit grizzly.

My emily is 3 and a bit now and weighs 16 kg. She is going through all the very cheeky stages such as back answering and has unfortunately heard a few naughty words and has decided to add them to her vocabulary. I am just lucky that she says sucksake instead of f***sake. No i don't say that (well i dont around her) as i dont like kids swearing lol.

She is growing tall very quickly, and all her jeans that have been taken up - need to be taken down. We have had to resort to getting a lock for our old fridge freezer and put our medicine in that and then put the key somewhere safe because she started climbing to get into the high cupboards where our medicine was - another good thing that she knows is that medicine can hurt you very badly - so she doesnt touch it - but best to be safe than sorry i always say.

Cass (cassaustin) and i took our little kiddies (Austin and Emily - ej stayed with my nan) to see the Dorothy Show. Cass started dancing to the quack quack cockadoodledo song and i just burst out laughing.

Afterwards we went to maccas and had a feed - love my healthy maccas burger haha

We are moving tomorrow to live at my hubby's house and are going to be living with his parents. Will be nice but interesting to say the least LOL.

taking surveys? I am very fond of taking the odd survey in my spare time. It brings in a few extra dollars every month - not much but as far as i am concerned, every little bit helps.

I also like focus groups . That is where you have a group discussion for about 2 hrs on certain issues eg. world economy, and then get paid cash in hand for doing so. Usually between 50 and 150 dollars.

I am a member of a site called AWSurveys - an international survey site that pays via paypal - once you reach 75 dollars or more. You earn the money really quickly and you earn extra money for referring friends.

i can't believe it.... he will be 2 months old in four days and my oh my - hasn't he grown!
He has marvellous head control and is a great sleeper. He is starting to get a bit of a cough but it's expected i guess, as emily has been sick for a few days with the flu - so no matter whether i keep her away from him or not - it's still in the air he is breathing.

Yesterday she had a little family get together and cass came along with austin and they had a blast playing with her pressies and the toys at nans house!

Well the day started off slow - as normal. Just chucked the washing on the line that got done last night and did another load and hung that out....
Cass came over and we had a chat while emily terrorised us all and drove us insane haha (no she didnt really). Emily is so funny. She thinks the sun shines out of Cass' butt lol she wouldn't leave cass alone to the point that she got up on cass' lap and had a cuddle (you're one lucky chicky cass).
Yesterday Emily woke up from her afternoon nap wanting to know if austin was here cos it was very noisy.  All i could do was laugh because of how cute it was. When he leaves she always says "where did friend go".
Emily has been a great big help to me helping with ethan and is behaving herself a bit better than i expected her to and for that i am grateful! She has not had a pooey happy for about a week since i smacked her for pooing herself... since then she's been telling us when she needs to have a poo so now she is toilet trained for poos just gotta get the wees down pat!

I think thats about it for now.... we do have pics but cant be bothered uploading them to here right now, will do it later!

Alot of people here on minti have been asking me to hurry up and put pics of my precious little bundle up so they can have a squiz.... so I have finally decided to put a couple up!
