Wow.  I had about a hundred friends requests accepted in my mail when I made it in here today!  What is going on - this is fantastic to see more people getting onto the site and involved!  It does mean that I have done little though, hehe. 

A couple of months ago we had this conference and I got to go at the last minute which I found incredibly exciting.  It was amazing.  There was a lot of controversy about him coming and I was eager to see if it was well-founded (naturally it wasn't, it was just a case of some ill-informed people making snap judgements about something they knew nothing of, and then influencing others).  The whole situation did make me think for myself though about the conference and the people that I know and the judgements I make based on what other people say and what I experience.  How often do I get it wrong (more often than not it seems sadly) and how many people do I hurt by being judgemental and not accepting of them.

Since that conference I have fallen down the stairs in my apartment (not a nice experience; especially as they were concrete!!) an amusing circumstance albeit frustrating on occasion. 

We have had a glowing end of year report and a good parents evening and E shall be doing her first ballet exam a few weeks into the new term for which she is now very excited.

And the job offers keep flooding in though I am still waiting for the one I can actually accept and do!  Am heading off to investigate something on Wednesday which I can't wait for.  Just got to see if they have anything available and if so that I have the required elements of qualifications, job ability and personality to make it work out.  In the mean time I am still at the charity shop and enjoying the opportunities to socialise there.

OK, it is now nearly midnight so I should shoot - but may make it back again soon.

Oh before I go I got 100% on my BSL (foundation) level 2 assessment.  Should be ready to take the next level tomorrow.  I just got the result and I am so relieved.
