Saturday morning  instead of sleeping in like i planned i was out of bed at 4am  ...dont know why and sitting watching tv -Australias hardest prisons of all things while hubby was reading the real estate section of the paper...That was the start of a very long day....Then we got on the computer and was playing a new game that we had downloaded ...lots and lots of fun...we actually solved it last night....Hubbys parents rang to wish me a Happy Birthday and my daughter was there so I got to talk to her as well, which was lovely  as we haven't seen her since early this year....then mum rang and wished me a happy birthday which was cool...I got some birthday $$$ so I'm going to go off and buy some paint brushes as i need some new ones.I cant wait....

miss 17 decided to make me a birthday cake and we had no eggs and no milk- 2 vital ingredients...lol...so we go off to the shop and get what we need and on the way home she asks ...can you drop me off at the station now instead of later ....had me bemused especially as she was meant to be making the cake......i got home and told hubby and he was still on the computer playing the game...lol....that was when we decided to change the little lounge room around (that has the computer in it )....so thats what we did for an hour and a half (or 2)....lots of fun ....the room has lots more space and it looks good too! .....That was about the time hubby said that he better go and make the cake and what are we having for  dinner?? As usual ...lol....I said i dont know...and i came up with a whole heap of different things that i could go and buy and I went back to the first option which was PIZZA ! We havent been buying it for a couple of months so it was a real treat...yum!! I ordered that and hubby got the stuff out for the cake and surprise of all surprises mr 13yo took over and made me a cake using 2 english tea cake mixes with apples and pears on the bottom....putting the cinnamon mix in the cake batter and using a slab pan ....yummy yummy yummy thats all i can say with some custard and icecream.....when its cold its nice eating by itself...

then when it was time to have the happy birthday song and blow out the candles Dylan(3yo) blew them out as soon as they were lit....had to relight and I was laughing that much had trouble and he blew out one so I had to stop laughing and try to blow out the other....there was only 2 as we used number candles........

we ended up watching tv till 2am....finishing off with 3 or 4 episodes of friends....

my plans for my birthday were going to be wake up, do nothing and eat...lol....watch tv....but it was a lovely birthday the way it was ....and from my hubby and kids i got a couple of long sleeve tshirts and a couple of fleecy jackets....so it was a pretty cool birthday.

After i rang citylink-the agency that control the toll roads in melbourne when i got the fine i received a phone call to say that the plate didn't seem to match mine and that it was a car and not a bus like i drive...so i thought cool that'll be the end of it...No he said he would send me a stat dec to fill out if i didn't want to pay the fine even though he believed me. I finally got the paperwork on tues and went to the police station then the magistrates court to do the stat dec..i had to have it back to vic by july 6...which only gave me a couple of days so i rang them again to find out if i could fax it to  them and guess what!!...I actually got a very helpful lady who not only looked at  the photo again also saw that it COULD NOT  be my rego, that it was a car and that it wasn't the same colour as mine....She took it off the computer that i was even accused, and has given me a complimentary pass to use for either a weekend or 24 hours next time i'm in melbourne...She was so nice and helpful and i dont need to send or fax the stat dec and she cant believe that no one could see the number plate didn't match mine.

So its now the end of term 2 here in adelaide....hopefully the kids will have fun without driving me bonkers  , I'll get use of the computer and they'll make me a nice cake for my birthday tomorrow. With a yummy dinner that i dont have to make or go and buy

I read that Patrick Swayze is going to be doing a 13 part series starting in august ....and that he had done a pilot to it early this year....I think this is wonderful that he is still wanting to and is able to work considering his cancer.....GOOD LUCK PATRICK.

its nice to know that i can be in 2 places at the same time...according to the greedy toll booths in victoria i was on a toll road in may at 10pm not paying a toll  when i was actually in bed in s.a and haven't left the state since i arrived here in july '07....and they want me to pay it.....of course i have rung them and after much discussion the  guy i spoke to has put the "account" on hold so it can be investigated further....my problem is how can i prove i wasn't there in vic.?? ....Heres hoping when they look at the picture again they will see the number plate has been read wrong!!
