Hopefully the bully situation will be resolved soon

Comment Published at 20:4820:485 comments5 comments20 Visits20 VisitsReport

I went to my daughters school this morning to discuss this bullying situation to her deputy principal to see if we could get some type of resolution for my daughter. She took notes and listened to what i had to say....Which was a big relief that she is taking the matter seriously! She is going to be handling the matter, talking to these girls and witnesses that my daughter had written down as well as talk to one of  my daughters teachers, as they cause tension in that class for my daughter and its a class that she loves and doesnt want to attend anymore which makes me mad .

my hubby and i were talking to her last night trying to be positive and helpful by giving strategies that will hopefully help her cope with any crap they throw her way....so heres hoping and keeping fingers and toes crossed that she'll be able to handle it when she goes back to school tomorrow.

I wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone for their support and advice.I really appreciated it  , it was really helpful and my daughter read the advice and I think it has

given her some hope and more strategies.

Re: Hopefully the bully situation will be resolved soon

I hope that this is resolved very soon too. Nik has not gone back to his TAFE course since he was bashed earlier this year either. I thought I was doing the right thing by taking him to the hospital and the police but he would not pursue it. He would not identify the person and it is hard that he will quit rather than stand up to them. I am not happy that these bullies are allowed to get away with it every time. Anyhow, I hope it all works out for your daughter. Girls are a little different because they are less physical and more rumour spreading and segregating each other, aren't they? I do remember! I was happy just to have a couple of friends I could trust in high school. Trying to get in with the in crowd was too hard! It is hard to stick to your studies when that happens. I had a popular girl make my life hard in year 9 and it effected my grades and everything. The good thing to come of it is that you become a better person and you are more understanding. You find out who your real friends are! All the best, Lynette xx

i was bullyed through out school from kindy to year 12. in high school in year 10 i think it was i turned around after i was told by a family friend that this girl was proberly bullied else where. i told her to get over it and stop picking on me cause i had a shite life and dont need her crap on top of it. in year 12 her and a few of her friends came to me an appologiesed for making my life hell from year 1-5, 8-12 (6 and 7 i went to another school)

Re: Hopefully the bully situation will be resolved soon

I'm glad they finally realized what they did to you and that is so sad that you were bullied for most of your school life. It was only recently my daughter said to me that she has been bullied for most of her school life too as it hadn't been happening for a little while then these girls started up again . Hopefully we'll be able to get things sorted properly and she uses some strategies to get through the next 5-6 months left at school for her.
