Hello again....

Comment Published at 23:1423:1410 comments10 comments31 Visits31 VisitsReport

Just thought i'd sign in and say hi to you all.

We have 2 four day weeks this week at the schools, as one day off is for the Royal Adelaide Show and the other one is for the teachers meeting. Love long weekends. We get to do so much at home and get to sleep in which is most important LOL

The kids are learning about cinderella this term and will be having a ball on the last week of school. It will be so fantastic to watch. Hopefully we will be invited to watch the ball and to take photo's. Will be getting doubles of the photo's so i can scrapbook them.

The weather is still like it's winter which is a great thing. Love the cold wet weather. Don't like being hot at all.

The eldest is still loving work while the other kids are still at school, and still kind of liking it, while the youngest still loves school for now.

Everyone take care and will follow up this blog soon.

I'm still alive and kicking

Comment Published at 18:0018:006 comments6 comments36 Visits36 VisitsReport

Im still here. I haven't deserted any of you. Just been busy with house work, dealing with my kids and facebook.

All my boys now have a job. Oldest has a full time job now  and the other 2 are part timers until they leave school. My girls are too young yet to work.

The girls do chores around the house and get pocket money, and they're still well behaved, but do have my hassles and issues with them, but what parent doesn't

I have missed you all and coming in here commenting on articles etc so i promise from now on i will come in here and hang around more often, and start to get to know the newer members.

Take care now and chat soon to you all

Some parents are so childish

Comment Published at 19:1819:1816 comments16 comments50 Visits50 VisitsReport

I had this one mother this morning who barely got out of her car this morning and while her child was on the foot path, told her daughter ( and pointing to my youngest daughter ) 'don't go anywhere near her, i mean it '

It's like where the hell did that come from? Was there any need for that at all? I was dumb founded to why she even said it. She might have been mistaken about another child there, but i gave her one of those looks to say ' Grow up '

I wondered who the child was when the so called mother said this. No wonder some kids lash out, and are bullies if the parents talk like this to the child. If this happens again i'll be going straight to the front office and reporting this child's mother. I know the child's name now and what room she is in. I am not putting up with that childish behaviour from an adult, or the harrassment and abuse from her putty mouth.

Am i over reacting or not. As far as i know, my child has done nothing to this other child, but this other girl was nice to my daughter in the school grounds. Go figure. I blame the parent for acting as old as her child.

One more week left of school

Comment Published at 23:3023:308 comments8 comments23 Visits23 VisitsReport

And i can't wait until the school holiday's get here. Both myself and children are so exhausted from school and work. My eldest is now working and so are other 2 boys, but only part time and work when they can after school and on weekends. My eldest works close to home and the other 2 have to travel about 10 minutes which isn't bad to 2 suburbs away.

My eldest daughter can't wait to work, and will do so next year. My youngest daughter just helps us around the house and she says that's her job. LOL.

We will be doing so much in the school holiday's. My elder 4 will be constantly be with friends and working, while my youngest daughter and myself will be doing alot of activities and spending as much time out side as we can.

Hurry up and bring on the school holidays

Im so proud of my youngest daughter

Comment Published at 20:4120:418 comments8 comments27 Visits27 VisitsReport

My daughter just turned 6 in March, and has dyxpraxia which is a speech problem, and she's able to do year 2 work, and she's only in year 1 and can read now level 8 books which is excellent for her age and that she's got a speech problem.

I'm so proud of her big time. She got spoiled on Tuesday when we got told. She is doing so well at school that im bursting with pride. Im such a proud mother at the moment. All we need now to control is her little outburst of anger and we will have the perfect student and daughter.

No blog for nearly 2 months

Comment Published at 20:3320:338 comments8 comments29 Visits29 VisitsReport

It's been nearly 2 months without a blog. Sorry peoples. I have discovered facebook and im so addicted to it.

I've been lacking in here and been missing all my friends but half my friends are in face book too so i guess i've been catching up with them in there too.

I love alot of the games in there like farm town, farm ville, uno, bejewlled blitz and many many more. I love face book to the max. I've added so many of my school friends and it's been great catching up with them online and in real life.

I should start to spend more time in here and answering questions, popping into  my friends lounges more often, reading advice and commenting on it, writing advice etc etc.

I have missed this place a little bit, and i am kind of addicted to minti, but at the moment facebook is taking over my life pmsl. It's such a great site for me to be on ( just as much as minti is ) But i come here for advice too and to catch up with my mates on here, but i do that on face book too and there's so much more i can do on facebook. It's just more exciting and more fun to be on.

Hopefully i will be in here every day to write a blog or few to keep you all informed of what im doing and how my kids are doing etc. Speaking of kids, i;ll be writing a blog about my kids once ive finished this blog. Only my youngest doesn't mind me writing about her. The others are teens and can get very funny and wierd on what i write about them.

Still raining.......

Comment Published at 01:4301:434 comments4 comments17 Visits17 VisitsReport

Yeah, it's still raining here in South Australia, and will do so until Monday. We desperately need the rain, and it always seems that we always miss out on the rain. We hadn't had rain since August, so im chuffed as that the rain is here.

Everywhere is getting a good soaking which i like. The lawns now are starting to form puddles and trees are getting a good water also. Bring the rain on and i don't care that's it's cold. Better than the heat wave's we always seem to get.

It's finally raining here in SA.

Which is most needed here in SA. Can't believe it's finally raining. Hopefully it rains long enough to fill up the dams and reservoirs.

It wasn't suppose to rain until tonight, but the rain has come early, which is just totally awesome. Come on rain, i hope you stay raining for a few day.

Happy Easter everyone

Comment Published at 15:5915:596 comments6 comments13 Visits13 VisitsReport

Hoping everyone will have a great easter. My daughter was up at 6.30 this morning, and i hadn't even hid the eggs yet. Mayhem it was. Had to make her stay in our bed until all eggs were in place and hiding.

The tooth fairy also came for her too, and left some money and an easter egg. She was so surprised she got so many eggs, and that was because she's been a good girl at home and at school.

Please enjoy the rest of your easter, and be happy
