I don't know how you stand the heat!!! The birds would be neat to see! Hope you get some refreshing breezes!

Hi Kerri, I hope that cool change comes through this afternoon for you & everyone else who is suffering from the heatwave conditions.

How grand it must have been to see flocks & flocks of Corella's....it is so nice to watch birds flying free. I've only seen a couple around here, never a flock. What a sight it must have been.

Even though the lorikeets are only small, they won't let any of the bigger birds come in, they are bossy little creatures.....the galah's and pigeons are the only ones they will allow to come in especially at feed times.

It is hot aye, i think melbourne should be getting a cool change today also cos for the last 2weeks its been in the 30s and tomorrow is suppose to be 26 then cool from there. So ill be hangin out waitin for this cool change lol...I remmeber all the birds when i use to live in S.A i lived in Berri and i remember in the mornings on the school oval there were thousands of birds.I also remember the pelicans in barmera that use to chase me lol..They are pretty too watch when there are heaps of them.It makes me feel sorry for the ones that ppl keep in cages.

Well i hope that cool change comes your way, its been in the 40s over there yeah? well tak care and keep cool.

I love watching the birds also. So beautiful. I didn't know that about corellas. thanks for that. I'll have to watch them more closely now. They are beautiful birds though, and i also like cockatoos and galah's are my favourite.

It is suppose to cool down today, but it's not as hot i think as it has been. It's suppose to be cool for a few days i think, or slowly cooling down now, and suppose to look like Autumn now. Hopefully the cool weather will be here very soon. I have got the feeling we will have a hot winter also. Not looking forward to it.

Thankyou i always enjoy my days when the birds fly over all the time. Hope the rain holds off until your roof is replaced, then it can rain as much as you want it too.

I love watching the birds.  They are so free and come into our yard all the time, begging for food.  Correllas are highly intelligent and I have seen them pull apart windows in order to gain entry to a house for a food raid! 

I really hope that the weather cools down for you all soon as the firefighters really need a cool, wet change to get those fires under control.  And I'm sure it would be more comfortable for you too.
