2 weeks left of school term

and everyone is looking forward to it, as we are all getting a little tired and grumpy and not doing as we are told.

The elder kids are getting into trouble at school but just getting warnings as they're model students and never hardly do anything wrong.

The last term is always the worst as it's always been a long year for them all. Poor kids. Cant' wait for the christmas holidays'

Day off for the show

by FremantleDockerComment Published at 17:1817:180 comments0 comments4 Visits4 VisitsReport

Today, the local schools in my area have the day off today for the Royal Adelaide Show, and it's so quiter than i imagined.

I honestly thought it wouldve been a little noisier than this but it's so quiet and peacefull. It's quieter today than it was on the weekend. I can't believe it.

Don't know if i will be going out today or not or just to have a peacefull day at home. It's another nice day today i might spend most of it outside.

I will try to catch up on minti now, and do as much as i can while the kids let me, but the older one's are off at their mates place, while miss 5 is in the bath while miss12 is watching her, but will be coming out once i've written this.

Might do some beading and scrapbooking and other little things today while i have the chance to do it while it's a nice day and can do it outside.

Went to the Royal Adelaide Show on Saturday

And it was miss5's first time at the Royal Adelaide Show and she had a blast. We were there for 9 hours, and she still wasn't exhausted and wanted to keep going. OMG. If you would have given me a pillow, i would have fallen asleep straight away anywhere.

Her favourite rides were the titanic which is a massive slide, which she went on at least 10 times and the tea cup which was about the same amount of rides. As they were next to each other, she was taking them in turns but she liked the titanic more. No fear my child has.

We bought both Dora the Explorer show bags, and a chocolate one, i bought the Port Power and Coca Cola show bags, and hubby got the Pepsi and Triple M show bags. It was a beautiful day on Saturday. You couldn't of asked for a better day to go.

We might go again on Saturday which is the last day, but it depends on what bills we have to pay and money left over etc.

I hadn't been to the show for about 12 years, and i also enjoyed my self.
