11.39 still awake my daughter is now sick, she has had a sore throat, swollen glands, high temperature and vomiting. So off we went to the doctor $57 later she has some sort of virus. Iam sure lots of parents can relate. Am I the only one who often wonders when I should go to the doctor. My son went to his day care lady, I usually do the food shop today but couldnt with my daughter home sick, he's at the terrible two stage, I know why the day care lady has a sign out the front "Warning Feral Children" well can relate to that. He is a nightmare to take shopping, I am sure he thinks coles is one huge maze built for his entertainment, he normally takes of flat out, while I yell "Will come back" When I do manage to get him in the trolley it is usually in the back with me constantly pushing his legs back in. I usually come out with flattened bread, at least one cracked egg and something suspiciously oozing out the bottom of the trolley. I d like to know who it was that designed those kiddy rides out the front, this usually sees me rummaging through my bag in the hope of $2 coin, if Im lucky and he has a ride I then need to just about chisel his fingers of the steering wheel while he says 'more, more!' This is why I have given up and put him in day care. Shopping can be BLISS! Oh well Ill try to leave him home with hubby on the weekend and go. |

Its 12.25 everyone else is safetly tucked up in bed asleep but my brain is still going so thought Id wind down on the computer. We had a sleep over, well my 11 year old daughter did but she had to go home because she thought she was going to be sick. Poor love! Oh well I suppose its better it happened earlier then after I was asleep. It might of been something to do with all those candy floss, giant lollipops and other assortment of goodies they scoffed at the school car boot sale. I guess I was too absorbed in rummaging through other peoples junk in search of a bargain! I did find some treasures, though I probably may as well of gone out to Target or the Kmart, seen as the girls only appeared with a chant of "Mum I need some more money." Well my daughter thought shed test out that $2 bargain hot wheels sleeping bag with a built in blow up mattress that Id bought for my 2yr old son. We'll see if it works then.
Well my partner just looked with me with eyebrows raised when I turned up with my bag of goodies, I guess I should of finished cleaning out the shed last week and had my own table out there, but Im sure the amount we spent there today made a good contribution to the shoolfundraiser. Well I started the shed clean out we ended up with 3 piles ; op shop bin, for people we know and possible sale on ebay. Not that Ive ever sold anything. I find ebay slightly addictive. There is a certain rush you get from vyying for an item with 40 seconds to go!
Well its 1.00 my brain is starting to fuzz out so I guess Ill go to bed. |
