We live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I'm married to the gorgeous Elaine and have been for over 10 years now. Our kids are wonderful and play together really well - most of the time. We are of Chinese descent, but both myself and our kids were born in Melbourne and my wife is from Macau (China).
Our favourite activities include: exploring all the different playgrounds within a 5km radius (sometimes more), playing with wooden blocks to build intricate houses, cities and other structures, dancing like crazy (good exercise), home-schooling (done in addition to standard school), stories at bed-time, hide and seek and weekends! Both Elaine and I work part-time to be with our kids during these early years.

My wife's away for most of the week. The kids missed her today, but we got through. I miss her too. Caitlin has swimming lessons tomorrow which she doesn't enjoy. I quit my job last Friday and I think my parents will go nuts when they find out. I am 34 so hopefully they will respect my decision and I can stand my ground without being disrespectful myself. I have 4 more weeks of work left - I can't wait for it to end. Why am I up so late? |
