Re: omg a baby has died
Stories like this don't make me sad, they make me downright furious. When are people going to learn that little kids and babies should never be left unsupervised with dogs of any kind even for so much as a moment?
I used to take my dog to playgroups, kindergartens, schools, parent groups, etc; to teach people about kids and dogs being together. He is so well trained and he's a huge dog, quite content to lay still on the floor and let 30 little toddlers climb and dribble all over him. But I still would never leave him alone with a small child even for a minute, as just one unintentional reactive snap could seriously hurt or kill a small child.
I feel sorry for the baby, I really do, and I feel for any adult that was not responsible for allowing this to happen, but I'm furious that an adult did allow this situation to occur by negligence.
Cheers, DA
