centerlink and child support agency...I'm so mad

   F#*K  F#%K... WELL I THINK YOU GET THE PICTURE.. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE TO BOTH CENTER LINK AND C.S.A.   WITH ALL THESE SUCKY NEW RULES COMING IN ON HOW THEY WORK OUT HOW MUCH CHILD SUPPOERT U HAVE TO PAY APPARENTLY FROM JULY MY FAMILY PAYMENT GOES DOWN AND MY CHILD SUPPORT I PAY GOES UP... OK GET THIS... THE MINIMUM YOU CAN EARN SO THAT THAT U PAY MINIMUM CHILD SUPPORT IS $13 000... RITE SO ME I EARN $14 000 A YEAR SO NOW WITH THIS NEW SHIT THE AMOUNT OF CHILD SUPPORT I PAY GOES FROM $13 A WEEK UP TO $43 A WEEK.... WTF NOT ONLY IS THIS GKOING UP BUT CENTERLINK IS NOW SAYING IF I DON'T HAVE  BETWEEN 15% & 35% CARE I GET NO FAMILY TAX BENIFIT FOR THEM.. SO MY FTB GOES DOWN BY $110 A FORTNIGHT..

OK SO - $110 + $80 A FORTNIGHT ..... THIS = $180 A FORTNIGHT I AM GOING TO BE OUT OF POCKET....

DON'T GRT ME WRONG I DON'T MIND PAYING CHILD SUPPORT BUT COME ON I WORK F#*CKING 14 HOURS A WEEK I EARN $220 A WEEK HOW THE F#*CK AM I GKOING TO BE ABLE TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE.... SO DOSE THAT MEAN THE BABIES I DO HAVE IN MY CARE THEY HAVE TO GO WITH OUT JUST SO  MY EX (WHO IS ROARTING THE SYSTEM IN ANY CASE KNOW THAT FOR A FACT) CAN HAVE MORE $$$$$$ .... I AM SO MAD RITE NOW I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW MAD I AM WITH OUT OFFENDING SKOMEONE....  DOSE ANY OF THIS MAKE SENSE TO YOU DID I EXPLAIN IT PROPERLY.. SORRY IF IT SOUNDS ALL MUMBO JUMBO BUT MY HEAD JUST ISN'T WITH IT AT THE MOMENT AFTER LEARNING ALL OF THIS......

Has anyone eles had any experience with these two idiot departments of our government...

They have to be kidding!  I'd be getting all the info books and going through them all to see what is what.  I'd also be asking to see a social worker at Centrelink to explain it to me like I was a 2 year old!

It seems these days that the full time carer is getting way too much money, especially if they themselves are working!

I hope you get it sorted soon.

yeah well he not working hasn't worked a day in his life... but he is living with his new partner and he still has a little blue card from centerlink... aall of you who r on sole parent pension will know what that is ....if u know what i mean with out actually saying it....and there is more now the 15 yr old is refusing to go to school....and he is ok with that... far out she's only just started yr 10 ....wtf

It will all bite him on the bum in the end.  The 15 year old won't get anything from Centrelink unless she is learning or earning.  And just being enrolled in a course doesn't count.  Yes, it will all come back to haunt him one day.

i hope so.. It's probably real bad to say.. but I really hope so.... I've had it with him and our government... ohh and my partner and i work our asses off and are stuggling and still rentin and he is getting who knows what from centerlink and is paying off his own home wtf.. i can't work it out...i could go on & on & on.. anyways love to u and your family I'm sending you all good wishes ...

i would look into it. there is no way that they can take all your money and give you none to live. is there anyway that you can get the kids more than you have them? the other way is bad but cut back a few hours a week and then you dont have to pay a thing. my dad always said to my mum if you try and get more money from me i will quit my job and you will get nothing.... mum got child support and dad paid for all my school fees and stool stuff and all my clothes and 90% of the time mum stole that money and spent it on herself.

i was on the fone with csa for 2 hours today trying to work a way around it... she said that i need to have them in my care for more than 139 nights per year to pay the minimum.... i could only rake up 109 nights and some of those were imaginary nights lol....trying 2 get more visitation out of my ex cause he is such a $#@*&$@)#$&%@*% is like getting money out of centerlink well we all know how hard that is... lmao....

OMG I HATE CENTRELINK..
Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that we get some money from them..
But seriously, you have to twist their elbow for it.. seriously.. LOL

Hey, don't worry, we all feel your pain...
I'm sure that everybody out there has had a bad Centrelink experience...
I cringe when I think about them and about filling out their forms :S

And god, their customer service is HORRENDOUS !!!!!!
When I was on the phone with them, one woman made me cry ! She was THAT rude !!!!!

Trust me, if anybody can understand what you're going through, it's all of us here on Minti !!!!!

I really do hope things get better for you !!!!!!

100% agree. This sucks! You have said it all and bet you get hundreds of replies. I haven't even got the time to reply but they certainly make life hard for the honest people out there. That is all I will say. I am hurting too right now!

I just don't understand how my c/support can up so much when there's been no changes in my curcumstances... and how centerlink can take money off me because their father wont let me have them anymore than what i do ... if it were up to me i would have em 100% of time  HOW CAN ONE DEPARTMENT UP WHAT U HAVE TO PAY AND THE OTHE TAKE MONEY FROM U..AARRGGHHHHHHH
