Got a bad feeling this was deliberate. How sad for the sister though, she was the one that found her baby sister like that.
Either way, it was a case of negligence on the part of the mother for leaving the baby in the car. The weather in Toowoomba over the last couple of weeks has been warm, and a child can die within minutes when left in a car like that.

yes the weather has been warm latley here...I feel for the rest of the family right now... deliberate or not still can't help to feel for the mother...

So very sad, and for that little one to find her. I hope this is just a case of an accident and not a purposeful act. We can all be guilty of doing things without thinking it through and I hope that those who are close to the mother don't judge her too harshly, it is an awful thing to lose such a young child and no matter the situation you as a parent will always blame yourself so some compassion for this family is needed, not finger pointing and blame.

Well said hunni.. Don't quote me on this but apparently she suffered from post natal depresson.. And she was in a hurry late for work and just plum forgot to drop baby at day care.. Not sure if this is true or not this is just what i heard....

That is so sad. I can't and don't understand how mothers can do that. It's beyond me. I'd be stressing the whole time weather my child is alright, or would be thinking if someone broke into my car and stole it etc. I could never do this to my children, and never have done in the past.

That is so sad, that poor little baby & her poor sister for finding her. I wont even leave the kids in the car when I get petrol or run into the milk bar.

Good to hear! I can't believe how many times this sort of thing happens every year and yet too many parents are still stupid enough to do it! I'd never leave a child so young that they can't get in and out of the car quickly and safely by themself for a single moment either.
I think this is something that needs a public awareness add campaign run for a while, like the anti-smoking adds.

Thats a great idea DA, too many deaths happen because of idiotic parents. Brads nearly 9 &I still dont think he should be left alone in a car,anything could happen.
How many times do people need to be told NOT to leave KIDS or ANIMALS in the car, maybe they need to run ads non stop until it finally sinks it.
