Hi, I am 41 and live in Kadina, South Australia.Kadina is a regional town about 2hrs north of Adelaide. I live there with my partner of 8yrs and between us we have 4 children. I have two boys who both live with us, one is almost 16 and the other is almost 10. My partner has two children who live with their mother but visit us regularly. One is a girl who is 13 and the other is a boy who is 10. My eldest boy has no contact with his "sperm donor" as he is extremely violent and a drug addicted alcoholic (long story!). He is a normal teenager who drives us nuts one minute and makes us very proud the next. My youngest is a different story, he visits his father regularly and we have a good working parental arangement for him. He has some problems. When he was very little I knew there was something wrong with him as he would have violent outbursts daily. I thought he had ADHD so took him to the paediatrician.He diagnosed him with Developmental Delay and put him on the Feingold Diet which helped enormously with his tantrums. He still is aggressive and has problems with his school work. He was recently re-assessed at school and was found to have some behaviours that could be linked to Aspergers Syndrome. So now we are going back to the paediatrician to be tested. Not good news but at least an answer. We have lost one child, I went into labour at 6 months and gave birth to our beautiful boy Matthew.He died in my arms about two hours later. Matthew would be 4yrs old now.
