Well Christmas eve we packed up the car and headed to my sisters to stay over night, we woke the next day and stayed for christmas breakfast, and exchanged gifts then off we zipped to my wifes family lunch. Thankfully all her family congregrates at the same time and house each year rather small family I might add we ate lunch exchanged gifts then off to my other sisters for dinner! where most of my family were at, gave gifts and left. very short summary of our day but as you can guess very busy and very very tiaring as my first sister lives a ways out of Bunbury and my wifes family and the rest of my family live in bunbury where we are situated, but with 6 children on christmas eve and christmas day till 11am my first sister just could not gather them all up in the car on such a hot day!. We are getting better at finding gifts for picky children that don't cost a lot too! I have found that 1 gift is enough if it's the right gift we had less $$ this year so we laybyed when the toy sales were on in the department stores I do like putting thought in to my pressies so hate shopping last minute. Baby boy had a blast and was sooo worn out that he was naughty much of the day choosing to cuddle me or chuck his food on the floor or just be grizzly! As we slept at my sisters he would not go to sleep, but by 3am he couldn't keep his eye's open, so I can understand his being tiard but with carful planning of naps he is safely asleep now till morning hopefully. I hope evryone had a wonderful day we really did although bub was uncooperative, the day hot, and the travelling long. |
