I was suddenly woken this moring shortly before my alarm clock  by a calf cramp in my leg. Owing and Ohing in pain baby woke up and began crying watching me holding my leg flailing around in pain. He could see and hear me as he is still under a year so we keep in a cot in our room. My wife jumped up to comfort him telling me to be quiet and he settled till I got another sharp cramp and began my "funny routine" he then burst out crying again somehow sensing my pain. I couldn't help but tell him I'm ok after the attack subsided and realised how much we have bonded just through being silly and having fun. My wife stood there laughing at me flailing about as she asked me to be quiet as im scaring the baby, some people!. At least my boy was sympathetic and gave me a hug.

Bub has 6 teeth now and feeding him is like feeding a baby crocodile! I will usually give bub some of my food to try / test out, just what I think he can eat and will give it to him by popping a little in his mouth with my fingers and .... you guessed it he is soo eager to try his dad's food he ends up trying to taste his dad! Yes yes I should have learnt by now but with a fork and him moving his little head about I really don't feel confident in getting the fork in his mouth without damage. Guess I will have to be prepared and grab a spoon from now on :)
