Wow.  Finally, finally finally I have internet at home.  Didn't want telstra as my provider in the first place but had to have them as they are the only providers in the neighborhood.  So we have to have them.  And I still don't want them as my provider.  They suck

Anyway, must be quick.  But I am back and very happy about it!

Miss you all.

Sweetie, Telstra owns most of the cabling for internet, but you should still be able to choose who your provider is.  We have our service through Telstra, but have the option of about 20 different companies.

hope you are back for good now.

Nah, has to do with the cable put into this neighborhood...is copper cable or something and optus can't use it.  Haven't gone down the road of checking all of the other providers but for our phone and at least at the moment, internet is with telstra.  believe me, i have tried.

Glad to see you back and ONLINE at home ! ! ! However I am in total agreement with Arna here . . you should be able to have your own provider, even here is TAS i have at least 50 to choose from . . .
