Hello.  Well, I didn't blog about this in the beginning because I just wasn't sure about sharing with so many people at once but will fill you in on the latest.  As you may well know, we are considering IVF again.  Well, we were going to wait for the next cycle but as luck would have it, I started my period early and was able to start the process with my doctor.  And lucky enough to have her to do the embryo transfer. 

When I started my period, I wasn't sure if she would be here for the full cycle.  But, also knew she would be for the next cycle (in July).  So, took our chances and it payed off.  We underwent a flare cycle and harvested 5 eggs, 2 fertilized.  We implanted 1 embryo and froze the other. 

Unfortuntely, I started bleeding yesterday which means no baby.  I am really disappointed.  But, there is another embryo there for us to implant (if all goes well with the thaw process) so will try again as soon as we can. 

All depends on whether or not I have a chemical pregancy.  A chemical pregnancy is one where there is elevated HCG but not in numbers to indicate viable pregnancy.  It means there was pregnancy but now not.  Will have blood test this week to find out and then know when we can proceed.

So there you go.  All filled in.
