Well, had my scan today and not much happening.  Often after a stimulation cycle, ovulation can be longer than normal.  So, will start checking my urine next week and re-scan on friday if I haven't tested positive for ovulation before then.  And we are going to put 2 embryos in next time around.  Wow...twins then becomes a definite possibility...and like I said before, a psychic once told me I would have 3 kids...who knows.

So results are ok, I am happy with that.

OMG, I hadn't heard about this but saw this on the ninemsn webpage.  This is heartbreaking...

Ok, well had my HCG rechecked yesterday and it was down to zero so we can go ahead with a frozen transfer this cycle.  This is exciting because I am hoping it means I will be pregnant soon!  But, will cross that bridge when I get to it.

I applied for a job today!  There is an offering of an after hours clinic part time work.  Perfect!  I just hope I get it!  There is a few hours at night during the week and then there are weekend hours.  Exactly what I have been looking for.

We were in Canberra for the weekend.  Cameron wanted to go up to ADFA for the Open Day.  I tell you what, I'm not the one going there but I found it really exciting being there.  I hope he decides to go.  And that he gets what he wants (pilot).  He seemed really energized and pumped about what he saw. 

My calendar year has rolled over to 37.  Yep, birthday was on Sat.  And spent most of it in a car.  Driving Harrison around so he could nap and then another 3+ hours back to Wodonga for the night.  It was a crazy weekend.  But, we will do something this week for my big day...

That should about cover it  Oh, my blog/advice got a read by a journalist who asked if I wanted to participate in an article on IVF.  In a different town so I don't know if it is going to work.  Will keep you updated though!

I am hoping that this is the end of my negative pregnancy tests.  Started my period on Monday so I am not pregnant again.  But to make matters worse (for 2 reasons) I had a biochemical pregnancy.  Means I was pregnant and am now not but also that I can't proceed until the HCG levels are back to normal.  This is the 3rd in as many  months.  I know it is not an easy process but  I just don't remember it being this hard.  Or as full on as it has been in the past few months. 

I guess adding to the pressure is the fact that we are going to the US in Dec and I really wanted to be pregnant when we went.  But also that limits how much we can do before we go because I can't be too early into the pregnancy. 

Anyway, that is where we are at the moment.  Sucks but what can you do.

Sure seems like a long time since I have been on Minti!  I mean, I have popped in and read emails and maybe even visited a few friends but I haven't read any advice in I don't know how long! 

I have been plagued by a house of illness.  First Cam and Harrison.  Then Dean was sick last weekend and off work at the beginning of the week.  Then, I am trying to get it as well!  But, the house seems to be on the mend so should be good to go.

IVF is progressing.  At a waiting point at the moment.  Fingers are crossed. 

As the days tick by, my trip to the USA inches closer and I can't wait.  I am excited to see family and friends.  Eager to spend Christmas with my family.  Looking forward to my husband having some real time off (he will be leaving his work phone in Australia).  Only 3 1/2 months to go! 

Well, I am not going to ramble on here.  Away I go to see my friends.  Thanks to all who visit and forgive me for not doing the same!

Well, I am here.  I have had the week from hell. 

Harrison had a gnarly case of the flu.  His brother was unwell over the weekend and Harrison started to get unwell on Monday.  Then, we had a horrific Tuesday night where I swear I saw every hour of the night.  Tried holding, patting, rocking, sleeping on my chest, in my bed, in the lounge, you name it we tried it.  And that morning, I had an appointment and had to leave the house before 0700, well wouldn't you know he wakes as I am leaving the house.  And Dean is away for all of this!  I was going to have his brother look after him but decided to take him with me.  So I ended up late for my appointment! 

Anyway, Harrison was feverish for 5 days and really bad for about 4.  And all he wanted was me.  So I got a bit worn down with the clinginess and whining and crying and not eating and everything else that went along with this flu.  AAARRGGGHHHHH. 

But, happily he is over his illness and has pretty much returned to his normal chirpy and happy self.

So here I am trying to catch up.  Will take a lot of time but will get there.  So hello to all my friends.  Sorry I have been away.  Hope all is well and will catch up soon.
