I am at my MIL's while Harrison sleeps.  Dean and Cam are at the house unpacking.  Same deal yesterday when the movers where there.  I guess I am lucky to be here on the computer instead of there unpacking boxes.  We were all exhausted yesterday.  Staying at the house tonight.  Excited about that.

Well, gotta run, Harrison is crying and is too early for him to be awake.

Oops...Feel bad about this but I forgot to add that I met up with Lorna (AZMom)  We tried on several occasions to hook up when I was in Sierra Vista but eventually we got it to work and we all went to her place and had a great time with her and her family.  I managed to snap a photo just before I left and will post it once I have my cables and computer in order.

It was great to meet up with another Minti mom and to do it from so far apart was even more cool.  Just goes to show you how small a world it really is!

Hello everyone!  We are back in Australia and will be for a long time!

I totally enjoyed my holiday with my family but after 7 weeks, I was ready to be at home and with a normal routine.  We arrived in Perth on Jan 19.  Yay!

So much to say...

Well, my holiday to the USA was a sad one.  My grandma who was ill before we went, continued to have problems, in and out of hospital, eventually sent home on hospice care.  She lasted 3 days at home.  Thankfully.  I am sad and will miss her.  But feel very blessed to have been there before she died.  She saw Harrison and knew who we were.  We took a photo with 4 generations (grandma, dad/sister, me/brother, great grandkids).  And very lucky to have that to remember. 

Other than that bit of saddness, it was wonderful.  We had a short trip to Mexico (cut short to come home for Grandma) which was fun despite the saddness at home.  Caught up with many friends and relatives which was wonderful.  Had my first Christmas at home in 5 years.  I cooked the dinner (something wrong there) but was nice anyway.  We went up to Lake Oswego OR for the memorial service, my brother and I read scriptures and my dad did the eulogy.  It was so nice, I didn't even cry because it was a joyus rememberance of my grandma's life.

Went to Tokyo on the way home.  Wow.  Love that city.  Very clean and safe and the people were so nice and the food incredible.  Will definitely go back there for longer.

We are in Perth now at my MIL's but she isn't here...they are actually in Victoria heading to Tassie with their caravan.  We bought a house while overseas (I hadn't seen it in person before Monday) and settle on Thursday.  Am very excited about that.  Move in on Tues after the long weekend, time paint, clean carpets and house.  I am so excited...my first house.

Well, will include pictures another time.  They are still on the camera and the cables are somewhere with our belongings.

Happy to be home and back on Minti, although will still be limited as we are super busy and won't have internet at the house until after Feb 5!  Oh well, will come over here to check my mail and stuff.
