We had some friends come over from Melbourne for a week a few weeks ago. It was nice. I met her and her daughter in the mothers group organized by our MCHN and we continued to get together up until we moved from Melbourne. We were trying to organize something in Broome but with our USA holiday so close behind us, Dean couldn't take any time off work so they decided to come here.
We didn't do a great deal. I worked 2 of the days they were here and had a "procedure" done on one of the days so really we only had 5 or 6 days of things to do and we had the weather to deal with as well.
We had pretty decent weather while they were here...a couple of rainy days but light rain and not all day. But the latter part of their stay was marvelous.
We went into Freo to the markets had a coffee and then had a lovely lunch at Little Creatures Brewery. The kids had a blast playing and checking out the boats.

Another day we went to the E shed markets and had lunch at fishermans harbour. Poor Harrison was so out of sorts with his sleeping and he was a bit sick too and he fell asleep during lunch...poor little tyke didn't even eat.
We went to the park a few times to give the kids a good running around. Went to the park at Kings Park for families Lottery West...that park is awesome.
They went to the mint one day which they enjoyed. Got Harrison a silver dollar fromt he year he was born. It was cool.
They had a great time and it was wonderful for Harrison to have such a great playmate on tap 24-7. He loved it.

We went down to Marapana Wildlife Park which was great. Lots of animals but they can get a bit full on with the feeding. The emu's freaked me out!

Couldn't come to WA and not stick your feet in the Indian Ocean. Well, I may have been the only one to do so but the kids played in the sand and had a great time at Cottesloe Beach.
