This morning we had to force feed the baby calf, which we have been doing for a few days. This morning went easier than the last few days. We did not have to hold her down today, just open her mouth and squirt the milk in. I opened her pen and ushered her out into the field, to see if she would graze. And she did, then I led our horse over to her so that we could see how they would react to eachother. This entire time Cheyenne was helping me. She is such a great kid! She is so excited that the calf is eating. Hopefully the little sucker will live. Last night we did the 4th celebration with some friends, like every year. We had bbq tri tip, shrimp, potato and macaroni sadad, guacamole, chicken dip with cheese, baked beans, rice crispie treats, little margarita deserts, garlic bread, bbq chineese chicken. I think that is all! We are having all of the left overs tonight while we watch the UFC fights. I bought the Ovulation tests, so far no go, but I only have done it once. Just to check. Acording to the charts I should ovulate the 12th. It says I could be fertile starting the 9th and ending 13th. I sure hope so!!! The kids are excited to know they may get a little brother or sister, Khiley says she wants both, she has requested twins. lol. If only it were that easy! |
