Wisdom Teeth - more painful than wise!!

Comment Published at 03:4403:443 comments3 comments90 Visits90 VisitsReport

Well my wisdom tooth is killing me at the moment. I can't wait to have it out - although the thought of having it cut out scares me to death (I'm not much for dentist's lol). I just keep looking ahead to the positives - once it's out we can start trying for baby number 2!! It's exciting; however I'm not looking forward to the experience of morning sickness again! Darling hubby (he's actually my fiance but we refer to each other as hubby and wife) is making me dinner tonight so I get the night off! Gotta love him - it gives me a break!! And with the pain I'm in which is affecting my ear as well, I can't wait to just lie down. I'm really enjoying this Minti community and I look forward to adding my life story to this blog and my experiences as a teen mommy. Well that's all for today - I have to go the pain is so distracting. LOL I don't see the point of wisdom teeth if all they do is hurt and need to be pulled out!

Re: Wisdom Teeth - more painful than wise!!

They are so painful !!!!!!!!  I had one of mine out in March and I was just relieved it was coming out that I didn't care about the pain. I didn't hurt much either, as the dentist was great and put numbing stuff on before he used the needle. I was actually surprised when he showed me the tooth, I thought he hadn't pulled it out yet.

Good luck and I hope you get it out soon.

Re: Wisdom Teeth - more painful than wise!!

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed when I was 23, and so glad I did it (had to have them cut out under anesthetic) for a whole year before I had them removed they would keep getting infected, and it was so tiring. I was sore for a little while after, but nothing compared to them being infected all the time.

I was 16 when I met my now hub, and he was 20, so we've been together for nealry 12 years now, and married for nealry 7 eyars, and it's been wonderful. We now have 6 children together, and we were also old for our age.

How true! The only wiseness comes with the wisdom to have them removed! The pain passes quite quickly after removal, and you won't know yourself without the earache!

Good luck with it (and with trying for number  2!).
