Hi my name is irmgard and i am married to a loving husband we have 2 lovely children,they are already grown up and my oldest daughter gave us a georgous grand daughter now 5 month old.
we also have a playful and very loveable fox terrier named gemma.
My husband and i came to australia in 1977 and lived in W.A for 5 years,we moved to victoria in 1982 just after my second daughter was born.
we always wanted to go back to W.A but as you can see we are still here in vic and i think we always will remain here,so much for wanting to go back to W.A.
W.A ist a great state and i really liked it there a lot but when your children go to school it is hard to take them out and transfer them to another school even more so when they formed friendships.
As we are both my husband and i have a dissabillity we try and stay mobile with taking our little dog for a walk and we also do alittle of voluntary work with the blindsociety and and frail and elderly just talking to them or doing a little arts & craft.
We have moved to mildura 2 years ago it is bautiful place and not as busy as melbourne or sydney.
The only thing i regret is that my children so far away from me in melbourne wich takes me 7 seven hours just to drive down .
I try and do it 3 to maybe 4 times a year if i am able to but cronic sometime does not make it possible ,but i do miss them terribly.
so i am happy to have met some friends here at minti and it is a really good place as the poeple are very friendly and helpful so thanks ... |
