Poor irregularhousewife has no gifts, brighten up their day with a present.

Hello! My name is "irregular house wife" and I am happily married to a wonderful man whom we will call "J". We are currently trying to conceive our first child and love to read parenting advice whenever we get the chance. We have been trying to conceive sense July 2005 and are hoping that it happens soon.
We have 11 pets; 3 dogs, 2 adopted out cats, 1 bird, 4 fish, and a snail. We had to adopt out the two cats because my dog wanted to eat them, so while they were here, no one was happy. So we made the TOUGH decision, to adopt them out, but we still miss them and concider them part of our family! My pets are a HUGE part of my family, and if you don't understand that, then your prolly shouldn't be reading this, and I really don't envy your lifestyle!
I hope you enjoy what you read, and I hope to update this soon, with a little addition of our own! |

This post is from from my other blog here I have decided to copy Michelle over at BIG BLUEBERRY EYES, on her Grains Of Gratitude. Although her grains of wheat picture was very appealing to me, I didn’t want to steal her WHOLE themed post, so I’ve made my own. Well not really.. I got the picture offline but what can I say, at least I didn’t steal Michelle’s picture, HA HA!
So mine will be Grains of Gratitude but I will be using a picture of ‘grains of sand’ and the reason for that is because I am very greatful for every single grain of sand/blessing that has been given to me and I know that if I don’t charish 100% of them, they can easily blow away. So that is why I have planned to post my grains of gratitude here for all to see.

Here are my ‘Grains of Gratitude’ for this week:
-
- Monday - The fact that I finally got my period after about 60 days of NOTHING!! Sorry for TMI, but it is great news when you are trying to get pregnant.
- Monday - I am also thankful for the fact I was able to get ahold of my infertility nurse to make an appointmenf for my CD 3 labs for Wednesday.
- Tuesday - I am greatful for the fact that I was able to go with a friend to move another friend to another town. It was a sad day to see her go but it’s what the Lord would have her do.
- Wednesday - I am thankful for the fact that I was able to have a safe trip over to Seattle and I was able to make it back safely.. if you are wondering why I am thankful for my safe trip.. read this article.. I was at the beginning of this, we saw a bunch of semi trucks sliding around and cars spinning around, thankfully Heavenly Father was watching out for us.
- Thursday - I am thankful that I was able to get some computer time in and for the fact that I was able to do some crafts and clean my house without any interuptions.
- Friday - I am thankful that I was able to go to work with Jeff and spend the day with him.
- Friday - I am thankful that we were able to go sign all the necessary paperwork for our apartment.
- Friday - I am thankful that I was able to drive around Kennewick and do a little bit of shopping while Jeff had his appointment on Friday. I am very thankful that I didn’t get lost.
- Friday - I am thankful that we were able to make it home safely and in time for our Church Potluck. We really enjoy the company of all the people at our church.
- Saturday - I am thankful for the fact that we were able to get a BEAUTIFUL new couch and two new matching recliners. We have been waiting to get these for a long time now and really enjoy them!!
- Saturday - I are very thankful that we were able to get our couch and recliners in our van (one at a time) so we didn’t have to pay the $50.00 deliver fee. I are also thankful that the furnature sales men were so nice and non-pressuring. That is very nice!
- Saturday - I are so very thankful for all the people who’ve come to look at our house the whole time that it has been for sale. I are grateful for each and everyone of them and we hope that they find whatever they may be looking for in a home.
- Sunday - I am very thankful for all the people who showed up at church today. I am thankful that it was Fast Sunday today and I am thankful that I was able to show my faith to my Heavenly Father by showing him that I didn’t need food to sustain my body, all I need is his Love and support.
- Sunday - I am thankful that it was Fast and Testimony meeting today at church. I really enjoyed all the testimonies of all of the people from my church family.
- Sunday - I am SO VERY THANKFUL for the Shana and Todd and the fact that they want to rent our house. I am so thankful for the fact that they are so loving and so kind to us. I am thankful that they want to move into our house even though Shana will have a 1-2 week old infant by the time that they move, she has about 2.5 weeks left to go in her pregnancy.
- I am thankful for the times that I am sick because it makes me realize and be grateful for when I am healthy. I know that if life was always happiness and joy then we would never know happiness or joy, everything would always be the same, so when we do know sadness and discomfort and pain, then that is when we truely charish the times that we are happy, joyful and healthy. So I am thankful for my cold that I am coming down with, plus once I get rid of it it will give my immune system a boost and help keep it strong. Even though I am thankful for my cold, doesn’t mean I don’t want it to go away. The sooner the better!
- I am grateful for my new apartment and for my church and for all the VERY MANY blessings in my life. I hope you are too!
Thank you for reading my Grains of Gratitude. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I do!
Update: I was going to post this tomorrow, but instead of clicking save I clicked post, so please scroll down to the previous post, so you can see what I posted before I posted this one. This post is from from my other blog here
This is my photo of inspiration. It may not seem like much to you but when you compare it to this:

It gives you a tremendous amount of inspiration to pack. The top picture is of my NEW kitchen in my new place, and the bottom on is the kitchen I am using in my house now. It is a HUGE inspiration to get off my butt and pack. The only thing holding me back now, is the fact that I am coming down with a cold so I am not feeling so well. My body aches, my head is hot and throbbing, and my throat is shot. What more could I ask for. I blame it on the fact that we haven’t paid tithing yet for the end of February or the beginning of March. Silly husband!
Hopefully I will get better soon and then be able to pack and get into my new kitchen soon!

This post is from from my other blog here Here is a recipe that my husband and I really love. It is a great go to meal when you need something quick, easy, and something that will fill you up. It tastes great and it only takes 15 minutes. YES!! I said 15 minutes. It is also very VERY healthy for you.
15 MINUTE TURKEY CHILI
