At the end of a frustrating January I feel more positive than ever about working from home. After a long weekend doing my finances, I have learned - NEVER to leave the job for weeks (or months) again. Thinking I had not earned much, I assumed the job would not take long... In the last few years my boyfriend and son have spectacularly shown that they have very different views on celebrating birthdays from me. The lack of any effort, gift or show of affection has impressed upon me that to them, birthdays mean nothing at all, unless of course they are your own in which case they are an excuse for doing what ever you choose, usually getting drunk.
