Everyone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

My son woke up at about 4:30am this morning because his leg was itchy. He woke up saying "mommy, medicine, medicine!"  After that, I don't think he fell back asleep. Then at 5am, he jumps up out of bed and said "poo! poo!" so off we ran to the bathroom. I was hoping to go back to sleep, but apparently, he thought it was morning and wanted to go play.

He played with the puzzles that his daddy got him yesterday and didn't want to leave for school without finishing them. Unfortunately, daddy didn't have time and had to go so we had to take the puzzles away. So then there was a great big tantrum. Half an hour after they left, I got a call from my husband saying that his drive to the preschool was stressful because Mr. little grouchy cried and screamed the entire way.

It was quiet at last for me after the boys left, but I feel like a zombie. I only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep.

Thanks all. I didn't get to nap. I'm afraid naps isn't possible nowadays.  But I did end up in bed pretty early so I feel refreshed today!

Hhhmmm.  Do you think we can put our kids behaviour down to global warming? lol.  As for hubby driving the grouch, at least it wasn't you! lol.

I'm with you on that one. At least it wasn't me, at least not this time. I've driven around with screaming babies too many times to keep count!

Must be going around.....i don't know about you but i can't sleep during the day and nearly 8 months in i think i'm past it!!  I just do what i have to do with Kaelan in the middle of the night now on auto-pilot.  The last fews weeks it's been all a blur in the morning....at least he's dropping night feeds (i know, i know) but really relies on a dummy :(

Don't you love that zombie feeling - everything takes twice as long to do, and it always seems to be on a day when there is so much to do... Get some shut eye when the twins are napping, and let the housework build up.  Perhaps your brain will have time to replenish and nourish if you give it a little power nap.

Take care, Lui.

Hey, I had one of those too!  Little miss B kept waking up, so ended up in my bed - kicking me all night.  Then her big brother came into my bed at 5.45 - wide awake and kicking too!  By 6.30 he had woken her up and we were on our way to a busy day - with me having about 4-5hrs sleep.

Gotta say too, if you're like me, i may be tired (which gives me less patience) but if I know they're tired too I have to steel myself for ensuing tantrums and clinginess - no fun when you're exhausted yourself - hope you manage to catch up some time!

Don't you hate that? Have a sleep when the girls have one, catch up ready to face the world again later.

I agree with emmie with having a sleep when the girls have one.. Forget the house work, its still going to be there when you wake...
