christmas shopping

Comment Published at 15:5315:539 comments9 comments78 Visits78 VisitsReport

The hubby took a day off today and also have day off tomorrow. Today, we did some Christmas shopping as it is easier to do without a toddler (he's in school). After we got done shopping for our 3 kids, the hubby was quite proud that we did it within budget. Though I don't know what budget he's talking about because we spent a lot. There is some bad math going on there.

We have also got gifts for pretty much everybody so we're doing quite well. We've even gotten gift cards for Matty's teachers.

By the way, it's Cyber Monday (at least in the U.S.) Apparently, in the Monday after Thanksgiving has proven to be a busy online shopping day in the past few years so now online merchants have deals going on today. If you're in the U.S, there is still time.

Re: christmas shopping
Hi everyone here, I have started a new shopping portal - www.topestore.com where I have made my all endeavors to keep the prices highly competitive & a stores directory namely www.safeshoppe.com, where you can find all occasion gifts. I would thank the community here for their suggestion/advices. Please do not consider this a spam. Prashant

Re: christmas shopping

Hey there, Sounds like your've done well with the shopping.  It's so nice to have it out of the way.  I'm about half way through and have stuff to post overseas, but there's still time.  If i get the Japan stuff done first and then the NZ stuff i'll just about make it.

Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving, very festive at the moment over your way!

Re: christmas shopping

Thankfully we have finished our xmas shopping. All that we need to do is to collect a few layby's that have been put away until xmas eve so the kids can't find them.

As for a budget, it's amazing how often it goes out the window when it actually comes to xmas time, that's one of the reason's hubby and I do our earlier as it ends up saving us money in the long run . . .

Have fun tommorrow . . .  Cheers Kellz

Hi,

Glad to hear you had a nice Thanksgiving.  Shopping is so much easier without the toddlers! You can get so much more done.

Hugs and rainbows across the miles. ( or should I say KMs)
