I want to thank you all for the positive thoughts and prayers!!!!!  My hubby appreciates all the the positive vibes.

He has been home since Thursday night last week and has been resting at home. After he goes back to work next week, I think I can finally have my rest.

Hoping monkeydad will get better soon, and find out what he's got. Hugs

Sorry to hear about DHs illness. It's so easy to treat it as "man-flu" - we've all done it. Glad Ms fever has gone. I hope the girls stay well so you can concentrate on being the devoted wife for a day or two. Sure aint easy being dragged this way and that with everyone's needs. I'll be praying for you!

and dont feel guilty kk, ive done the same before... lawrence was quite sick once but not incapacitated either, so i also asked him to help me with alisha... and i felt awful too... but i bet, if you hadn't asked, your husband would've helped anyway :)

Oh sweetie, that is terrible!  I know what it is like to have the other half in hospital, and it is not nice.

Big hugs, and lets hope that it is just this rotten bug that has been going around.  We have all had it and it bounced from sinus to chest and back again for about 2 weeks. 

Meningitis is scary.  One day you can be fine, the next, having a needle shoved in your back!  Suppose there could be justice there if you went through an epidural, but still not nice.

She'll watch over you all. Thinking of you all and I hope that MonkeyDad is home real soon.

Oh Izzy, I do hope it isn't meningitis.  And that your little ones don't get anything!  Wow, how scary for all of you.

Dear Izzy, i send MonkeyDad all the healing and strength vibes i can for a speedy recovery! I sincerely hope the tests show what is the problem and that treatment can be started ASAP.  I do so feel for your hubby if they think it is meningitis as the tests to diagnose that are not not very pleasant....just wondering even though your son is feeling better now....have the doctor's recommended that he be tested also, just a thought.

Sweet Izzy you  shouldn't feel guilty about not tending to him ( even though as loved ones, we seem to take the guilt back on ourselves)....but keeping him busy most likely kept his mind off how he was feeling.

Best wishes to MonkeyDad, it is good that they have taken his illness seriously and are taking tests so that they can eliminate possible causes.  No doubt he will be feeling run down after the last couple of weeks, so the rest will do him good. 

I know it is scary, lonely and hard to cope; but you are a very capable woman, and an extremely good mum, you will get through this moment in time.  Just stick to your priorities, and don't sweat the small stuff.  Don't be afraid to call a friend or relative and ask for some help; even if it just means someone to chat to.
