Here is little Matthew (19 months old at this time) helping me dust the house with the swiffer. And as you can see, the dogs needed dusting too, apparently.

Hi Izzy,Mathew must be a great little mum's helper, that is so cute.My youngest used to be a great little helper when his brothers and sister were at school,he can still be quite helpful when he wants to be,must have trained him well.Hope you are having a great week.
Actually, my son is not loving helping as much as he used to. Now if I ask him to pick something up, he says, "you do it, mommy!" But you're right, if he really wants to help, he is an excellent help.
He is an absolute help (from throwing dirty diapers, etc) and now I am actually getting him to start clean up his toys too! But lately I've been hearing the "you do it, mommy!"
No, the dogs are still with the in-laws. We've actually given them the dogs. Salem (the black one) continues to fight seizures (but thankfully not as often) and it's a bit hard to take care of him. Koby, is a quiet dog for the most part but I don't want to separate her from Salem (she'll be lost without him!). My father in law actually loves having them since his dog died last year.
But the dogs come to visit whenever the in-laws come though.
That is so sweet. I am glad that your in-laws love having the dogs around.
That way they get the attention they need.
At least you found them a good home and I'm sure they love you for doing that! (both your in-laws and your old doggies!)
You must miss them like crazy though sometimes!
I'm happy to hear that Salem is doing better with the seizures...
To tell you the truth, we've been so busy here that we don't even have a moment to miss the dogs. We feel a little bit guilty, but at the same time since they are with people who give them the attention they need, we feel less guilty.
Since the dogs have been with the in-laws, they've been a lot more behaved!
